Local shops around 1 mile away, transport is good with a local bus route and 2 train stations within a couple miles. Living on street very quiet and peaceful

How quiet it us throughout the day without builders is great!

Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:

Give some pavement outside the house. It basically goes straight into the road from stepping out the door.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The development is within Kingsmere, which has a ‘centre’ with a small co-op, take away restaurants, and a community centre. There are also sports fields, children play areas, and a small business park. The area does not have that ouch green at the moment, but hopefully it will be moren noticeable once the trees grow.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Be active introducing yourself to your neighbours. In new built developments everyone is new and most people are open to making new friends or acquaintances.

The design. I would make sure the space is latex out to maximise efficiency.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living on our street is very convenient as it is round the back of the development, easily accessible off Middleton Stoney Road. Being away from the centre of Kingsmere is ideal as there is not much pass through traffic going through the area. Plenty of parking and bin collections are very convenient. No anti-social behaviour at all.

TV aerials installation required by external company will set you back £200-£300 for TV aerial points to work.

What is the best feature of your home:

There are too many good features - south facing garden, high ceilings, large rooms, plenty of bathrooms, spacious kitchen and living room, large garage with separate shed, storage space, TV points in every room, solar panels!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Kingsmere is close enough to town to walk to it but within a good distance to have a quiet estate. The local shop isn't too far from me and the pubs/bars in town are OK. My street is quiet and all my neighbours are friendly. Bin collection is regular every week with alternate bin colour collections, you can hear the traffic at night but its mainly police sirens if anything.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wouldn't have had wood chippings in the front garden as they do not have a nice appearance, have been blown away in the wind and do not prevent weeds.
