Very centrally located. Perfect location! 5 mins walk to Piccadilly train station. Kampus black card entitles residents to discounts city wide.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Washing machine leaking upon move in. Raising the issue was very simple and swiftly dealt with.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Wasn't aware it was a king size bed, so brought our double bedding with us! Might have been mentioned somewhere and overlooked! No complaints about the bed, so comfy!

Super convenient location yet feels nice and peaceful in the Kampus development. Nothing bad to say.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
We haven’t really had any problems yet. There was some furniture that needed to be removed and Edmer sorted it out quickly and with little disturbance.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Council tax is higher than we thought but it is an old building in the city centre so it’s to be expected really.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living in this area has been a great experience so far. The area is full of character, with plenty of cafés, restaurants, and bars just a short walk away. Being right next to Manchester Piccadilly makes getting around the city and beyond really convenient, and there are excellent tram and bus links nearby too. The local shops offer a good mix of essentials and independent stores, and there’s always something happening around the Northern Quarter.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They have responded quickly with helpful solutions every time.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One small thing that could have been improved is communication about parking before move-in. We later found out there was a system for reserved parking during move-in, which would’ve been useful to know in advance. That said, the nearby parking deck has been very convenient for overnight parking.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The location is great, adjacent to village street and the neighbourhood is very lively. The whole kampus area is enhanced by the number of restaurants that surround it, and the central green spaces are pleasant to walk through year-round. For shopping, there's Sainsburys, Tescos and a large Aldi within 10 minutes walk. The proximity to Piccadilly station is unbeatable and provides easy access to get out of the city centre and get a 15mins train to the airport and fly out. Never encountered anti-social behaviour in its immediate surroundings (whereas I have in areas near Piccadilly gardens at night) although always remain cautious late at night. Overall, ideal location that I intend to remain at in the foreseeable future.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Building management and reception have been very responsive to any queries I had, and always felt welcomed talking to reception about any issues encountered. As mentioned above, a special thanks to Edmer for the helpful chats along the way!
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The operator for energy is pre-selected for the development and this cannot be varied. However, the well-insulated rooms combined with a central room temperature control makes it easier to manage if you wish to reduce your energy use.

Great central area with walking distance to most areas within the city. New sainsburys is being built which further increases the value of this development

Edmer has been of immense help to us ever since we have moved in (2 years ago), and has gone out of his way to help with any queries/questions we require.

That it is a very lively area and extremely convenient
