Not many play areas for the children.

I do think there's nothing for those young people of those area. Not many play areas for the children. Some of the walk ways for pedestrians are dangerous. They have no curb just blend into the road.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I dislike that there's too many apartments being built which are to high. This is blocking out the light to our houses

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The actual houses built and lovely. I just think there's too many high rises apartments and flats

What is the best feature of your home:

Design of the house is lovely. Lovely and spacious.

House living in the city

The US Houses offer good value for money as regards to the space. They offer 2 parking spaces and a lovely back garden with a living fence made of ivy. Wondows offer plenty of light. There is also a good community feel with neighbours looking after each other.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The houses are very well located, close to the city centre & just a little stroll from Victoria station. All amenities are close by. Further regeneration of the area must be carried on to enhance the area.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish we were told about the changes of the flat development at the end of our street.

What is the best feature of your home:

The best features of the houses are the space, the garden and the location.

The development is spacious and modern. The huge windows mean you get some stunning fews of the city. The fact that you could design your own layout means each house is unique and has it's own feel. The high ceiling and windows are a real conversation starter and always impresses guests.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It's great being able to walk into town in a few minutes whilst still being able to sit out in the garden on a sunny day. The bars/restaurants and shops are all so close and if you fancy some open space the meadow and Peel Park are only a 10 minute walk away.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It would have been nice to have Internet connections already fully set up as it took several months to get the Internet installed.

Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:

I would have air con installed as the top floor gets incredibly hot in summer.

Great size, location and value

Great buildings in a great location. Some annoying design features (ie showers don’t drain well) but nothing that spoils the experience. The overall amount of space in the house is the best feature. Really good value rent considering size and location. Good community spirit.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great access to city without being right in the centre

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wifi boosters are firmly needed, and you need to be on the front foot with the landlords

What is the best feature of your home:

The size of the house, including garden and high ceilings

A perfect house in the city!

The homes themselves are modern open plan living, and are really good sized! We especially love the black kitchen and some of the modern touches, for example being able to control your lights and heating from your phone. I do wish there was a bit more storage designed into the property, as there is limited places to store things such as vacuum cleaners or suitcases for example! On a whole the management of the property is good. Sometimes commutation from Urban Splash can be a bit slow but issues tend to be resolved fairly quickly.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It’s a great place to live! It’s a 10 minute walk to the city center, close to great road links, and pretty much any amenity you can think of is just a stones throw away! To have a house so close to the city is amazing!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

On a whole the building management are friendly and helpful. But as mentioned there has been times where communication has been poor and waited a prolonged period of time for an answer.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We love living here, and the sense of community is amazing, we didn’t anticipate having such a great community around us. The heating panels aren’t particularly great, and in the winter months the house is incredibly cold, even with the heaters on.
