Quiet and Relaxed Atmosphere

I really love that this development is in a contained and secluded area, you hear less traffic noises and more silence! The river nearby is a huge bonus, it creates and a great spot for walks or runs and the actual development itself has many green areas which is great for kids and dogs. It provides a natural and social element to the residence. The actual house is great! We have underfloor heating which is efficient in the winter and double glazed windows to trap the heat, however they pose as an inconvenience in the summer as it gets very hot and we don’t have AC. We are given extra ventilation, but its not enough. When we first moved in, our thermostat didn’t work, the heating was constantly on although we set the room temperature to 18 degrees this meant our energy bills were very high, maintenance dealt with this issue quickly and professionally. The level of light entering the house depends on the position of your apartment, in my old flat (same development) we got a lot of light however in the one we get less. The windows overlook the greenery of the development. The actual development offers many facilities such as a large gym, a concierge and very trustworthy staff. It makes me feel better about living here. The area is safe and very well connected. Theres Greenwich station nearby, many bus links and living near supermarkets such as Waitrose make this residence more convenient.

There are no facilities I would like added, most of the facilities I need are very close or offered on this develop.

4 stars even with terrible management

Really close to all the Greenwich amenities, shopping, the O2, olde style Greenwich with all the parks and pubs etc. There is a Co-op literally on the doorstep for quick shopping.

The best is a brewery really closely, a fantastic place to hangout and try lots of great beers.

Overall Greenwich is a super beautiful place and we’re really close to everything.

Unfortunately here the building management is a disaster, service is terrible from really unprofessional individuals. This is not just me but everybody that says this. They take personal grudges against people, act very badly and are untrustworthy in relation to parcel collections and rule enforcement and they put zero effort into keeping the paths free of delivery scooters etc. Just very very bad, really.

Even with the very bad concierge etc, its 4 stars for so many positives.

Love Greenwich area, it’s like a city with lots to do but with a real community feel.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

None.

Why did you choose this development:

I lived in Greenwich before and really like it a lot.

Looks lovely is lovely but very rushed

My accommodation is spacious and modern with an open plan. All in all it is a good value for money. Unfortunately the building from the inside looks rushed everything is breaking.
In the hall way the main water pipe makes a huge noise and the sprinklers are hanging out.
Shower head leaks into walls which creates mould. We asked management to fix it and management gave us a 50 pound voucher to paint their walls.

I wish I knew the bus options would be so limited, the queues in the morning are long which delays me for work. Unfortunately there have been many break-ins to the bike shed which discourages me from getting a bike of my own.

Really nice area and quality building

Like the fact it’s enclosed and away from traffic. Nice to be next to the river with a nice path alongside and lots of green spaces.

Not so close to transport links. The links are good, but they are a little 12 minute walk away which is not absolutely ideal for if you’re in a rush.

The concierge service is good, but can be disorganised in terms of process for tracking parcels etc, so that could be better, can be a problem. The original developer (Barratts) were very good, but since the handdover/integration (to Firstport) seems to have caused issues.

The building seems like good quality construction. I’ve had no issues and it’s always well maintained and kept clean.

I chose this development because North Greenwich is a really nice safe area, decent transport links, and a good environment and atmosphere along the river with the Cutty Sark etc.

A new slice of London

Review Date Aug 2019

Great views, great customer service, access to a great gym. The concierges are mostly fantastic, building problems don’t always get sorted out immediately, particularly in communal areas. The repair team are great and fix problems to a high standard. It is a bit unfortunate that the next development over is still being built (our balcony has had the shell of a building view for our entire two year residency) the view is fine but if you happen to be home during the day it can be very noisy, especially if you want windows/doors open. All in all it is a great place to live and I would recommend.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

This part of Greenwich is reforming itself, as a tourist hotspot it doesn’t have the luxury of other areas as (I assume) business rents are higher. Trafalgar Road has some great places to eat and there are some gems in the town centre. There are not many night life options in Greenwich itself, other than maybe the o2, which is also imo limited

Enderby Wharf resident

Review Date Aug 2019

Great new build apartments in the centre of Greenwich.
The flats although interesting colours on the outside, are modern and well equipped inside. Living in a 3 bed flat there is a lot of room for 3 people with a particularly spacious hallway and living area. There is also a large balcony on these flats that look over the river and Royal Naval College.
Enderby Wharf also has nice garden areas in between the flats which breaks up the area from being too concrete and is child and dog friendly.
The 24 concierge is useful although have had a few issues with missing parcels and staff.
The on site gym although quite basic is great and right on your doorstep and never feels over crowded.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I love that the area feels safe. It’s well connected and off of the main road away from noise. Enderby Wharf sits in between the o2 and Cutty Sark which is great for travel and local shops & restaurants.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known how many new flats were going to be built in the area. Although this is great it means there’s extra pressure of public transport – particularly busses (which there aren’t enough of during rush hours) and the tube, especially if there’s any tube problems.

Amazing place to live in!

The building is a state of the art, newly built, I have been living here for 4 years now. We have gym and a concierge on site. I have 2 bathrooms, a bedroom and a kitchen and a wine cooler. It is an open plan and it is quite luxurious inside. The developer has changed recently and so far ir is alright.

I would love to have a bit more parking spaces and more storage space in the flat.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I like it, it is quiet, we have a nice view on the Thames, nice access to facilities, supermakets, the station and restaurants. I dislike that it is a bit windy. Ikea and Greenwich village are nearby as well.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing in particular.

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

I would love to have a bit more parking spaces and more storage space in the flat.

Calming area

Review Date Aug 2019

I chose to live at Enderby Wharf because I moved in with my partner who had bought off plan and thought it was a good opportunity for investment. I have been living here for approximately one year.

There has recently been a changeover of the building management company and it hasn’t been the smoothest of process with the handover. The transition from one to the another has been quite difficult and it hasn’t been efficiently dealt with. The issue mainly has been with communication and changes in procedures. I think this will be smoothed over soon.

We do have a Facebook group for residents which is very neighbourly but also helps us identify and resolve issues that need reporting to management.  There are just a few teething problems at the moment, which I am hoping will be solved by feedback of the team. We are creating a resident’s association in order to be able to smooth things over and to be more in control.

The facilities on the site are great. There are lots of communal gardens, which are very peaceful and tranquil. I would have liked to have an area where we could have barbecues though. There are also building a new garden with a sitting area that will have river views, which I am looking forward to. The gym in general is also great, never too busy.

Although we were pre-warned about the service charge price increasing, the rise was sizeable – but this is in-line with other developments.

We also have a concierge service open 24 hours a day, however because of the transition into a new management company, the concierge is not the smoothest at the moment.

The flat itself is lovely as we have a great river view, which is amazing, especially at night with all the lights and the view towards Canary Wharf. We have two balconies, which we make use of more in the summertime. It can get quite windy, however, as with all riverside developments.

I would say the features of the flat are the same as most Barratt developments, which although they look great, are very smart and it does feel like I am living in a hotel sometimes, I wouldn’t give them a 100% rating for functionality. For example, the drain in the shower looks fantastic, but it is not very practical to clean. In my opinion, they have been designed to be more aesthetically pleasing, and I think the features could be improved.

There have been great steps made in the development to establish a friendly and positive community. Our Facebook group has really drawn us together as neighbours and I have even made some new friends here. There are also often dog parties in some of the gardens.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

One of my highlights in the area is the pub, The Pelton Arms which has live music regularly with great bands playing every weekend.

There are regular buses, but the nearest Underground station is a 16-minute walk away, which is slightly inconvenient. It is quicker to get the bus, but I don’t always want to because it adds on to my daily costs of commuting and late at night, buses aren’t that regular and walking home isn’t the safest. They also recently closed Tunnel Avenue bus stop, which was a shame because lots of residents used it to get into Central London. I wish there was more public transportation – there will be soon with the clipper stop!

There are nice walks in the area, particularly on the Thames path, which is lovely to walk along and clear your mind, especially in busy London. The river running along the bank side is nice and calming within the Greenwich residents, which is great as it helps the local residents to relax and relief stress. Greenwich Park is also one of the best in London and it is unrivalled in my opinion. There are so many wonderful restaurants as well and for shopping, you don’t really need to go anywhere else because we are a stone’s throw away from shops like Ikea, Sainsburys, Primark, Quikfit and Pets at Home in the shopping retail park, which is either at short drive or bus ride away. I also like taking my nephews to the dome and the cinema, which are not on my door stop but nearby.

A Co-op supermarket also opened up recently nearby to the development only 2-minutes away. The crime rates within this establishment were bad – there were regular thefts by children, but I haven’t heard of this lately so I assume all resolved now.

I think the area itself is quite safe. I do like the sense of community here because as neighbours we always alert each other of anything going on in the development. There is a real neighbourhood watch feel.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known more about the planned development works within this area, as it would have prepared me for what was to come. I am slightly concerned that the building works will block my lovely view. However, I do think this will bring more shops and community to the area.

Are there any facilities you would like added, or that you have but do not use:

I would like to have a barebque area within my compound to help bring out my family and friends.

Would recommend, pretty good

Verified Resident

Review Date Aug 2019

Personally, I think that my overall experience has been pretty good as the development is close to Greenwich and the O2 so whenever I want to eat or commute to any location it is pretty close by. However sometimes the garden upkeep is not to be high standard.

There’s nothing I would change, I would hope they added a pool but that’s just me.

Garden looks crap sometimes

Great development to stay

On sight gym and we are expecting a pub on the waterfront. The 24 hour concierge is good and helpful. The development is quite spacious and is a good value for money. The gym is very useful and about a minute away from the property.

I chose this development because it is close to Greenwich, which is a really nice area close to London and has that countryside feel to it.
