Wish the development wasn’t still under works. Won’t be able to fully take advantage of all the facilities for months.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
I’ve been at The Fernley, Square Gardens for a month and I’m loving it so far. The location is great with some great restaurants on and around First Street, close to deansgate-Castlefields tram station. Private but close to the action The only thing First street is lacking is a supermarket near by. There is a Sainsbury’s local which is close but not great for a big shop. I have opted to have my shopping delivered, which tends to be a lot easier but due to being a new development, delivery drivers tend to get lost.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
My Tv was set to reset daily, this meant that I had to log into Google and Netflix every day, which was annoying. I spoke to reception who let me know that they can call someone in to fix it, but they also provided me with a code to reset myself. I reset the settings to keep me logged in with ease, took no more than 5 minutes to resolve. The team were lovely and are always happy to answer and questions/ queries.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had asked more about the area and restaurants/ shops nearby, especially about local supermarkets as this has been a learning curve for me as I was originally looking at apartments in Ancoats.
