Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Deansgate Square offers an excellent location with the best of both worlds. You can enjoy peaceful walks around the scenic Castlefield area, yet be in the heart of Manchester's bustling city centre within a quick 10-minute walk. The nearby First Street development provides a convenient Sainsbury's supermarket, a variety of restaurants, a cinema, and a theatre. For fresh local produce and a great deli counter, the local shop 'Lakeland' is a fantastic option. Parking is readily available through the 'Paybyphone' app, with bays located at the bottom of Deansgate and around the back of the development on Great Jackson Street. The app-based service offers competitive rates, such as £2.70 for up to 3 hours.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

To avoid an automatic 10% rent increase, opt for a longer lease (2-3years). I wasn’t made aware of this option at the beginning of my 12 month tenancy and felt disappointed with the renewal process.

What is the best feature of your home:

The amenities, from the onsite restaurants, pool and gyms to the exercise classes, community events and social /co-working areas.

The place and facilities are incredible

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The range of shops including coffee, restaurants, lunches and many more is great for quick access when you require it. Good quality as well. Handy being really close by to trams and the train. Furthermore, close to the city centre as well Parking underneath is fantastic getting to and from the flat in no time. The bin collection system is great. The traffic and noise is the main issue for me but get use to it over time.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Knowing where to park and unload as very confusing when first coming to the apartments. Additionally, confirming the address as my app says the wrong tower to the one I live in

What is the best feature of your home:

I would say the design of the big windows with the open view as well as the wooden flooring in the kitchen. Furthermore, the bathroom layout is really nice

Poorly managed gym facilities

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The facilities are extremely poorly ran - gym, sauna, pool - nothing is ever in working order, bas communications, bad gym management who never reply to emails from tenants and bad communications.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Wish I’d have know the main facilities I moved in for would never be in full use or not broken

What is the best feature of your home:

View Apart from that, the elevators need fixing and so does the dog waste all around the development

Shambles

Jack (Tenant)

Nov 2023

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Fantastic location as you’re in the middle of a thriving city. Parking is horrific though as it’s about a 6 month wait to get a parking space in the building for a hefty £200 a month. Wifi is a complete lie, I was told it’s free and then once you get into your apartment you find out it’s just about strong enough to send an email. You then have to pay £20 a month for it. I’d have no problem paying that but it feels like I’ve been lied to.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How much of a shambles it is. So much potential. Would’ve liked to know how difficult it is to get a space for my car too.

What is the best feature of your home:

Facilities are very good. Gym, pool, shops, cafe/bar

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good aspects : amazing location, impressive decor and style, very good with security, lovely amenities. Feel like you live in a 5* hotel. Bad aspects: difficult to move into. They’ve lost a £60 package of mine within 3 weeks of living here.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How difficult it was to move in. That parking isn’t available.

What is the best feature of your home:

The spa, pool and gym. I also love the views and the wow factor in general as you walk in.
