We believe the best information about a residential development comes from the people living there. Owners and tenants have a lot of useful information to share with their prospective neighbours, not just on the property itself and its locality, but also on the developer and the building’s management.

The development is well laid out with a little village centre in the middle of the "village" that includes a small convenience store, a coffee shop and several other units. Most of the houses and flats on the estate are fairly spread out with green spaces in between so doesn't feel like a concrete jungle like many other new build developments do.

The design of the village is well thought out though the use of a main high street with no formal crossings has led to a few incident already and this should be reviewed ASAP. The houses are all in keeping but different enough to not look too uniform which is in part the reason that several developers were used. The management company are great however they have still only had a small percentage of the village handed over to them, something which is outside of their control.

The local shops in Tadpole Garden Village are really good. We have both male and female hair cutting available along with Sainsbury’s, which stocks everything you’d generally want. Sainsbury’s have just started being a drop off point for Argos too, which is an added bonus. The Local coffee shop is really good too!

The design of the village is good although there is an obvious difference between phrase 1 and the subsequent phases with the rest feeling more squished. The facilities are good, however it would of been nice to have a wider range of shops- butcher/ deli etc.

Development is good on the whole, however more houses than originally put in planning for on the development and I may not have bought here if I knew that when I was looking for somewhere to buy. The development as a whole currently looks very messy and where areas have not been taken over by the management company they are not being maintained by the developers.
