The flats design is very modern and simple

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The flats are very modern and have been painted in a white colour, you have Hanley bus station and stoke station that allows you to travel easily and have potteries that even though is very empty at the moment in next couple of years with redevelopment will become better.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

When first moved in there was a delay getting issues addressed but they are a lot better now and have a quick turn around

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish i knew before moved in to have thing for the wall as the flat looks empty with out decoration on the walls.

A Perfectly Snug Home

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Being my first time living properly on my own, I have everything I need in a short walks distance. Which I don't even have to tell you is pretty great especially being someone who struggles with walking! The only problems in this aspect come from being quite near the centre of Hanley and aren't at all the fault of the building. Friday and Saturday nights mean my windows have to be sealed closed because of club-goer noises and also weed smell.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very quickly and problems seemed to be fixed on a promise of ASAP.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

As a cat owner, beware of the windows. And I would suggest only open the one in the bedroom and then only slightly, especially if you have a brainless fur baby such as mine. The sliding door window seems to be sort of a cat death trap.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is great with easy access to the town and directly next to big tesco that's useful, it's only a 15 minute walk from station.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Took a while for us to get out lock fixed when it broke but seems to be getting better

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The lifts have been an issue with at least once a month one of the lifts breaks

Great place to live

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

As Clayworks is right in the centre of Hanley, it’s only a 2 minute walk away from anything you might need, like shops, bars and supermarkets, making everything very accessible. The parking is a council car park you need to pay for. You get assigned a bay once you’ve received your parking badge. However the only issue being, people who haven’t paid sometimes park in your spot without realising you need a badge to park in the bays provided. Being situated right next to a busy main road, you would expect the traffic noise to be horrendous, but the flats are very soundproofed and you can hardly hear the road and traffic with the windows and doors closed.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We have been living in this property for 5 months and haven’t had any issues arise yet, so cannot comment

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

All residents are very helpful and there is a Facebook community group for any questions that others may know the answer to
