Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
City Co-Living Newcastle offers a modern, well-connected urban lifestyle in the heart of the city. The area boasts a wide range of local shops, restaurants, and bars, with many located just downstairs, making dining and entertainment highly convenient. While small supermarkets like Tesco Express and Sainsbury’s Local are nearby, access to larger grocery stores may require a longer walk. Open spaces such as Leazes Park and the Town Moor are within easy reach, providing residents with scenic areas for relaxation and recreation. Public transport links are excellent, with nearby bus stops and quick access to Monument Metro and Newcastle Central Station, allowing easy travel across the city and beyond. Although the building doesn’t have its own parking, nearby options are available, though they may be limited or paid. Bin collections are regular, and the area is kept clean and tidy. Residents report low levels of noise and minimal anti-social behaviour, contributing to a safe and pleasant environment. Overall, City Co-Living Newcastle is a desirable choice for students and professionals alike, offering strong transport links, urban convenience, and access to green spaces, all within a vibrant and secure community setting.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has been responsive and helpful, addressing issues like maintenance requests and communal area cleanliness promptly and professionally.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I wish I had known before moving in is how busy the lifts can get during peak times, especially mornings and weekends—it can cause minor delays. I’d also recommend asking about room location, as some face busier streets with more noise than others. A great tip for new residents: take full advantage of the communal spaces early on to meet people—it really enhances the co-living experience.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
There’s a decent range of local shops within walking distance, including a few independent stores and well-known chains. The restaurants and bars offer a mix of cuisines and have a lively atmosphere on weekends, although they can get quite busy. We’re lucky to have several open spaces and parks nearby, which are great for relaxing or exercising, especially in good weather. Transport links are fairly convenient, with regular buses and a nearby train station connecting to the city centre and surrounding areas. This makes commuting or getting around relatively easy without a car.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They are fast at responding and solving issues regarding maintenance.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
There is nothing specific that I didn't know about. Everything was clear to me

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The location of the flats could not be better, in walking distance of everything you’d need including metros and shops. Parking nearby is quite expensive but as to be expected in a city centre. There are some rats around the bins but I’ve just learned to avoid that route.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Usually respond relatively quickly depending on the severity of your issue. Would be nice if there was a bit more communication when they are sorting the issue as going months without hearing about it - although not an emergency- is slightly discouraging. The desk staff are all lovely and are so helpful.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
- the events in the building are in high demand and short supply so you have to be there as soon as they get released on the app. - the windows don’t get cleaned as frequently as I’d have thought for rooms with massive windows. Especially for rooms facing the road, they get quite dirty.
