Lovely property but disappointed with service

I purchased a lovely 1 bedroom flat at Chapel Riverside last month (August 2021) and am relatively happy overall however there have been some very frustrating points that I feel the urge to share in hope future prospective owners have a better experience. Communication was strong to start with as one would expect when your are being sold something however this dwindled to almost non-existence when I signed on the dotted line. After securing the property with my deposit I was shown around by the site manager who was excellent. He was very thorough and created a snag list ensuring that all minor adjustments, i.e., balcony lock broken, marks on the wall where furniture had been removed and faulty light switch connections would be resolved before I moved in. Fast forward 2 months and the paint has had a touch up and the lock has been fixed but the wiring is not correct and I have identified some more minor faults. I.e., Door closer faulty, utility cupboard light constantly on. When I raised this I was informed that it would be passed on to customer service team, 2 weeks later I've still had no communication. It's taken the gloss off of what should be a very exciting time. Lovely flat but generally disappointed with the service overall

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is very picturesque next to the Marina and a short walk from Southampton Football Club. Lovely local bars and restaurants around the Ocean Village Marina and from what I've seen the town seems okay and relatively close to local amenities.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Since completing, communication has been few and far between. Issues still not resolved.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had a better grasp of how to manage people parking in my private space. How is this possible in a gated development? I have felt let down by poor after sales service and feel a little lost as a first time buyer. As I purchased one of the last properties I was told there was nobody on site any longer to assist. I know this comes across a little needy but as a first time buyer I was expecting /hoping for more from the after sales team.
