Living in this area has been a great experience overall. Everything is so accessible – from local shops and supermarkets to restaurants and green parks. Public transport is excellent, with a train station within 7 mins walk making commuting easy. The neighbourhood is generally quiet and friendly, with very little anti-social behaviour or traffic noise.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has been great—any issues I’ve raised were solved within seconds, not even minutes. Their response time is incredibly fast, and they always handle things professionally and efficiently. I really appreciate their support.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I wish I had known before moving in is that the beautiful common area isn’t just for special events or socials — it’s actually available to use any time! I originally thought it was only open for a few hours during resident gatherings, but I later discovered you can enjoy a coffee or tea there whenever you like. It’s such a great, relaxing space and a real hidden gem within the development. I would definitely recommend new neighbours take full advantage of it!

The range of shops and cafes is excellent. The location is close to Maidenhead railway station (6 min on foot). Even though the building is in the high street the area is nice and not so noisy.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management responds to any issues in a timely manner and fixes everything very fast. Really like the building management.

We’ve really enjoyed living in this area. It’s quiet, safe and very residential, yet just a short walk from parks, shops and cafés. Transport links are convenient and reliable, with easy access to the train station and local buses. We’ve never had issues with noise or parking, and the street always feels peaceful and clean. Everything you need is close by, while still being calm enough to feel like a retreat from the city.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
We didn’t have any issues during our stay, but it was clear that both Oxana and Lucas, the handyman, are always on top of everything. Oxana was super responsive, and Lucas was incredibly efficient and friendly the couple of times we saw him. It gave us real peace of mind knowing we were in such good hands.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I hadn’t realised how comfortable and low-maintenance the flat would be. It’s bright, well laid out and easy to keep clean, which really makes everyday life smoother. It’s been a calm, practical and pleasant place to live.

Overall I like the vibe of this town though I think there could be more diversity on food choices & a bit over priced. But it’s a very safe, quiet area. Much better than London.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They always respond quickly and solved the issues quickly. Very high efficiency and friendly and I really appreciate this. Best building management team I’ve ever meet : )
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I could know that they would change carpet with corridor doors closed…The smell is really bad for health

The location of Berkshire House is excellent, it's conveniently located near the high street of Maidenhead with only a short walk to the train station. There are lots of shops nearby and a bus station just downstairs.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They respond very quickly. When we report any issues with the appliances they are always fixed on the next day.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The location is so convenient that most things can be bought locally. No need to bring in lots of things when moving in.
