Our house is perfect for us we paid for a private snagging company which I totally recommend as we’re pretty clueless they found just over 100 snags but to be fair they were mostly resolved within 3 months of us moving in but you do need to be proactive nothing major thankfully also Dom on the site was brilliant so that helped

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

We live on Arkall Farm and literally love our house and its design. We are on the outskirts of Tamworth but our location is only 1 mile from the town centre so it’s perfect for us nice and quiet with a local coop for convenience. We have the number 2 bus service so that’s great for getting into town no real problems With noise or parking everyone is friendly very calm so when your home you can relax with family totally recommend yes it’s pricey but worth it with local schools within a mile a plus as well

Just more understanding of the customer service once you have moved in 2 many departments fir me gets confusing

What is the best feature of your home:

3 ensuite bathrooms and kitchen which allowed me to have a pool table / dining table

Beautiful development, beautiful designed and unique, quality should be better

Development is beautiful, big paths, green space, space between houses. Would have preferred to own the garden section behind our own garage, rather than our neighbour owning it. Feels like our garage is in their garden. Design of house is beautiful, believe there was an opportunity to have light switches near door for kitchen. Steps to front of house poor quality and design and let the beautiful design of house down. This does only seem to be our house.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Right next to train station, town centre, shop, petrol station and motorways. Loud motor bikes on nearby county road (Ashby Road). No police station close by.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had know that we could have picked our kitchen and chose tiles. We were the first to purchase on the estate and asked if we could have our bathroom and downstairs toilet tiled and pick our kitchen. We were told no despite the house still being erected. The site manager showed us on our tour and asked if we liked them cos she believed we chose them. She said she agreed we could chose what we wanted even though we were told we couldn’t. Disappointing considering it’s a half million pound purchase. Plus obviously entrance steps, a mess. We expected railing at front of house to be vertical not horizontal, doesn’t look as nice, like the show home railing. Can see uneven walls, only once painted so was too late to have anything done about it. We do love the design though, it’s very different

What is the best feature of your home:

We have multiple void spaces which provides a lot of openness and makes our home feel very unique, different to there homes. Like that we have a bath and a shower in the bathroom.

Great home, very poor aftercare

A lovely designed home with all I need. Unfortunately Davidsons aftercare is less than acceptable and it has taken almost two years to get them moving on snags. I’ve had several major leaks, fixings not secured, contractors damage the property etc. the whole process has been chaotic. However I do love the home design and space - it’s just such a shame it’s been so stressful to get here.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Nice town with good local facilities such as Ventura Park. Great to have a shop so close to the estate. The roads are wide but parking can be tight.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known and read more reviews about the builder.

What is the best feature of your home:

The large bedroom spaces and well designed kitchen.

Quality build, great houses

Lovely looking houses and quality builds. We like the fact that all houses are slightly different and each has character/visual interest. Still waiting on the road outside our property to be completed & landscaping finished. Don’t believe at this time the property management team have taken over the site.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Close to Tamworth castle grounds, small local shop a 5 minute walk away. Would be nice to have a coffee shop/amenities on site or within walking distance of the development. Great transport links with the bus coming through the development. No issues with bin collections, traffic noise etc.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Do the upgrades/flooring with Davidsons if you can afford to as they make such a difference and it keeps moving in a lot slicker that everything is done

What is the best feature of your home:

We love the design layout, light bright kitchen, quality of finish and the attention to detail.

The home offers an ideal space for a couple, good design with good finishes. The facilities are excellent, and both building and property management are responsive, ensuring the property issues are resolved quickly. Area is well maintained and kept clean

The area offers a great variety of shops. Transport links are convenient, with bus and train stations within walking distance, though rush hour can be busy. The neighborhood is generally quiet.

The tight driving bay making it difficult to move cars in : out

The property offers good design, facilities, and garden size
