Maidenhead strikes a lovely balance between town convenience and riverside tranquility. Everything I need is walkable - grocery shops, the post office, cafés, and a decent range of restaurants. The Thames towpath is right there for morning runs, and I've discovered wonderful walks along the Jubilee River towards Dorney. For entertainment, the Odeon cinema cover films. The Elizabeth line is direct into London without the stre s of driving. If I had to find a fault, the high street could use a few more independent shops, but the new developments are heading in the right direction.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Flawlessly. Oxana A is incredibly proactive. For personal requests, she's quick, thorough and always follows up. It's the most responsive management team I've ever dealt with.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I recommend visiting Cookham village and the Stanley Spencer Gallery on a weekend; it's a short trip and full of charm.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Maidenhead has surprised me with how much is on offer. The Chapel Arches waterfront area is lovely for evening drinks, Coppa Club by the river great for dining, Miyazaki for Japanese, and several independent cafés along the high street. Kidwells Park is right on the doorstep for a quick green break and some skateboard runs. Transport is a huge plus: the Elizabeth line takes you straight into central London without changing, and the M4 is minutes away if you drive. The only downside is limited free parking in the town centre, but there is ample parking at Sainsbury to a fair price and extra parking next to Lidl.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Brilliantly. Oxana has been my main point of contact and she responds quickly and thoroughly. A minor plumbing issue I raised was resolved within 24 hours, and she kept me informed at every stage. It's refreshing to deal with someone so organised and caring.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The riverside walks at Boulter's Lock are only a short stroll away. I wish I'd explored them sooner.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I relocated from London and Maidenhead has been a really positive change. The Elizabeth line means I can still be at my desk in the City within 40 minutes, but I come home to a quieter, greener setting. The riverside around Boulter's Lock and Ray Mill Island is beautiful for after-work walks.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Brilliantly. Oxana A responds to queries within hours and always follows up.

Nothing, everything was well presented by Oxana and I have nothing to comment in this section.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Being located right on the High Street of the town, the property has great access to all the necessary shops, bars and restaurants, etc. It also has a great transportation link having a train station within a 5-minute walk from the property, with regular services to Central London, not only conventional trains but also the Elizabeth Line to major business districts. The surrounding neighbourhood feels safe and relatively quiet, and the gated car park is very convenient.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

There have only been a couple of minor issues since I moved in, and the friendly on-site management team responded competently and efficiently, solving the issues immediately.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There is none to mention, as I have not had any unpleasant surprises thus far.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Transportation is super, walking distance to train station and fast trains to London. Nice design, good space for one person. Lovely management team. Sometimes may be a bit noise when there is engineering work on the high street.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes , the management team respond promptly every time when there are any issues.

There is no microwave in the kitchen, although there is one all residents can use in the resident lounge.
