My flat is really lovely

My flat is really lovely. Both the concierge and the property management are really helpful. They are also so fast to solve the problems. There is a work space on the ground floor and it is great for the people working from home! Luckily we have a cafe at the same place with work space so you can grab your coffee, take your seat and start working comfortably! Also the bakery is worth to try, they are so delicious! I definitely recommend here.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I like the environment here. There is a free parking space in front of the building, sometimes you can find places to park sometimes it is quite busy but overall it is okay. The area is pretty safe. I haven’t experienced any anti social behaviour around so far. Trains to London bridge/cannon street are often especially in the weekdays(every 5-6 minutes) and weekends (15 minutes). There is 2 station nearby, one is Newcross the other one is Deptford. Both stations are almost at the same distance.
If your flat located on the railway side sometimes you might feel noisy but if the windows are closed trust me you will not realise when trains passes. And there is no train during the night so it is not a problem at all.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Unfortunately there is no big supermarket around. The nearest is 20- 25 min walk( tesco extra in Canada water or Lidl) . It would not change my mind anyway i am so happy except this.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

We had a problem with washing machine, and they solved the problem so quickly. So far so good.

Great community, safe with lots going on – great access to transport.

We have never had an issues with the facilities in the flat, the only issues have been with the lift and the main door to the building. The main door is quite concerning for security issues and should be looked at.
The design layout of our flat is ok but I feel it could be improved, our balcony and cooridor areas are larger than needed and we would prefer this extra space in the living room/kitchen, however we do appreciate the large storage room.

Also a small thing but the fitted Sonos speakers shouldn’t be fitted to plasterboard walls as the base this creates disturbs residents.

We are in the perfect location for access to transport being opposite Hackney Wick overground station and a short walk to Stratford. We now have a Sainsburys local which is great for quick dashes for milk and bread! I love that we don’t live near a busy high street, as it feels peaceful and has a community feel.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish it was made a little clearer that the landlord could increase the rent by such a large percentage in one go. However we do appreciate no rent increase throughout the pandemic.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Quickly and with solutions, we are always able to get hold of them.

Vive Living is amazing!

This development is amazing! The facilities- such as parcel room, bike store, cinema, dry cleaning service, and workspace- are so convenient, we’re just missing a gym lol! The conceirge, especially Akin, cannot be beaten; so welcoming and on hand to help with anything we need. I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else 🙂

We are close to a number of mainline stations and bus routes, and just a 20 min walk into Greenwich centre.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

At certain points in the year this development seems to be a student hotspot, which can be annoying as they tend to be messy in communal areas as don’t see this as a long term home like others do.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Always respond instantly, and everything is dealt with promptly and to a high standard.

overall excellent experience

everything is to its highest standards. flats comes with latest built in appliances. good sizes flats. latest technologies such as underfloor heating. parcel room. we do have work from home area with a coffee shop in it, big projector screen for movie nights, rooftop balcony overlooking the shard, canary wharf etc. with ping pong tables and sitting area on it.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

very good overall experience, no traffic noises at all, bin collections are often (we do have a shared bins and enough bins for general waste and recycling), free parking on road even tho people from the neighbouring buildings take some of our spaces which is very annoying. many train stations within maximum of 15 min walk, few bus routes. few local restaurants and pubs, local shops.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

only bad thing in my opinion is the neighbouring buildings using our parking spaces which sometimes makes it very hard to find a space available. Also if you have electric car, the one charging station we have on the street doesn’t work, however the charging station is not provided by the building management so they are not responsible for it.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

we haven’t had any issues to raise, but they are always happy to help if needed.
