Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in my local area has its strengths and weaknesses. On the plus side, there’s a decent range of local shops, with a mix of independent stores and larger chain, though some could benefit from better variety of restaurants and coffee shops Transport links are fairly convenient, with regular bus services to city centre but services can be less reliable during peak times and weekends. Parking on my street is often a challenge, and building offers chargeable expensive parking

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

They increased our rent £300 and did not accept any less No on site management to complain to when needed bad housekeeping, corridor barley get cleaned and smells bad all the times

What is the best feature of your home:

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Quite close to train and tram stations and the main street - Arndale the shopping mall is within 15 mins of walk. There are lots of supermarkets and shops around, plus restaurants around Piccadilly Garden. At the same time, Northern Quarter is close as well, and local shops and restaurants can be found there. There are parking slots on the street, but the building itself has limited parking spaces only. There is a dedicated bin room for the tenants. There is a parcel room in the lobby, so if you are getting parcels in bigger size, you can still receive them if you are not around in the building.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Clearfibre has installed routers for each apartment. You can choose to use them for Internet, and it is very easy to set up. There is QR code on the router, which leads you to the sign up page. However, it is up to you to decide if you want to use other internet providers.

What is the best feature of your home:

The ventilation is very good. People like me who don't like to open windows would love that. I don't usually open windows since there are insects coming in, but the ventilation is so good that it allows me to not open windows at all.

Great location - walking distance to the city center

Ms. Qian (Owner)

Local Blackfriars, M3

Jun 2025

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great location - walking distance to the city center. The built in pub is a great addition and amenity for residents. Can get a bit noisy if you live in one of the units that face the Main Street. Parking availability is also very limited. Security needs regular review and potential improvement due to break ins in the past.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I didn’t expect that many break-ins in the apartment complex itself. Also, that it would take so long for some facilities to get repaired, such as lifts and gym equipment. Overall, decent place to live though due to the location.

What is the best feature of your home:

The best feature is the main bedroom in a corner unit, as it is very spacious.
