Lovely management team and staff

Lovely management team and staff, quick to help with any enquiries I had. Parcels were also well stored to allow for residents to pick up their parcels easily. Lobby is well designed with a lovely scent. Details and architecture of the property are to be highlighted.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Very close to the city, easily accessible. Arndale shopping centre is just a 10 min walk away on a straight route.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Maintenance was slow, but this is subject to different property agents’ follow up.

What is the best feature of your home:

Amenities were very easily accessible, layout of the apartment also suited tenants well.

Very friendly concierge

It is a very modern facility. With gym area and communal area, this residential building is facilitated for all you need. Additionally, there is a private garden inside the building which makes the living experience very enjoyable. I love this feature.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Very nice environment with friendly people in the building. Especially Yoana, the best staff in the building I have ever met. She is friendly and always helpful.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

If there is a openable window in the living room of 2b2b, it would be better. As well as wash machines with drying function.

What is the best feature of your home:

With nature fresh air available in the 2b2b, wash machine with drying function

Welcoming atmosphere

Air circulation, in both the flat and corridor, needs improvement. So does noise insulation. In the two-room flat, there is only one window, which is installed in one of the two rooms. Bathroom can get humid easily and takes too much time to dry. It can get noisy especially in flats facing the football pitch. Otherwise, I would recommend to those looking for high ceiling, en-suite bathroom and no late night parties on the property.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Thank to Yoana, who's at the reception desk, I feel at home here at Burlington Square Apartment. She is amiable, responsible and highly organised. One example would be - lately we had a hiccup with the public water fountain in the gym, she sorted out with utmost care, inspecting the nature of the problem, not just superficially, and took immediate actions accordingly. Overall she makes sure to keep the property safe, hygienic and quiet for the residents.

Great building with amenities - no trams nearby and view-blocking construction for one half of the building

Fantastic building with a swimming pool, gym, cinema rooms and group areas- easy to book and the on site staff are great. I got super lucky with a one bedroom for £1,000 but any groups of 2 & 3 you are looking at a very high rate, higher than average in the area which is to be expected because of the amenities but given the lack of easy transport nearby I don't think overall the cost is worth it. The design of the building is gorgeous, sleek and modern and the balconies all face outwards so you are guaranteed some sun at some point! The only other down side is the eye sore of the extension of the Oxbow building just over the road... they've been working on for it about a year, no end in sight and it is truly awful in blocking the view and sunlight for all flats on that side of the building. Not to mention you'll have constructors working across from if you're on the high floors which eliminates all privacy. The construction is also of course very loud and you can't escape it no matter which floor you're on - IF you're on that side of the building.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

A decent area if you don't mind walking or taking the bus- strange that such a popular, developing area doesn't have a tram stop near by! The closest would be Market street or St peters' square; a 40 minute walk away... or you can take the bus. The only let down of the area really, as there is lots close by.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known the construction of the Oxbow building would be taking place! Constant noise, men on the scaffolding which eliminates privacy and completely blocked all the sun and views of the city.

What is the best feature of your home:

Amenities- especially the cinema rooms and swimming pool, a shame you can't use it it just any point as there has to be a lifeguard on duty.

The design is very modern and new

The design is very modern and new I like it a lot, with facilities just wish the leisure was open for longer times during the weekdays. Building and property management is as good as expected to be. I wish there was better parking facilities around the area

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It is in a very convenient location, just wish there was a smaller sainsbury or Tesco or Aldi at the doorstep

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That the bills are extremely high for very minimal use and parking is very difficult

What is the best feature of your home:

Location, its situated so perfectly between town and the airport, it’s so well connected in terms of public transport, I love that there is a gym, steam, sauna and pool.
