The property is in a great location, right opposite Waitrose and a 10-15 minute walk into the city centre. The area is quiet for the most part despite being near a very main road

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

All of my problems and issues were always prioritised and dealt with efficiently. Whether this be questions about fire drills or flexibility about my tenancy, I was always impressed by how well my queries were handled.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I have lived in the same apartment at The Gorge twice, so before my first tenancy, the only thing I would have wished I'd known was that sound carries from the hallways more than I expected. As I chose a room right by the lift and stairwell, and overlooking the entrance to the communal kitchen, there was sometimes a little more background noise than I would have liked. But, over time I grew used to the small amount of noise and it didn't bother me at all. I moved back into the same flat later on, so it really wasn't an issue! But for those who don't like too much surrounding noise, consider choosing a room on a higher level or far away from elevators and stairwells.

Excellent location , it’s hard to ask for better. Charles Street is extremely well connected, with everything within walking distance, including shopping centres, clinics, restaurants, and cafés. Public transport is very convenient, with bus stops nearby and both Queen Street Station ( 5 minutes) and Cardiff Central Station (12 minutes) being easily accessible. The area is lively yet generally well maintained, making it a very practical and convenient place to live.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management at Verse are very helpful and responsive to any issues that may arise.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The team at Verse are exceptionally accommodating and friendly, creating a welcoming and supportive living environment.

They have responded quickly and solved the issues then and there.

It is much easier to move here than I thought . The application process is easy and reviewing the contract is easy too

East Croydon is an excellent location as there are Sainsbury’s local shops within a 5 min walk and a gym in the same area.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

As stated above, the building management was fantastic - thank you Samira!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The utility options within the flat (gas, electricity, WiFi) are extremely limited in that there is no option to shop for another provider of electricity or gas as these are fixed building wide. In terms of WiFi, it is also limited as many providers are not offered in the building.

The amenities in the area are unmatched. There are a range of high and lower-end restaurants, a park within walking distance, sufficient supermarkets close-by, and the biggest selling point is the transportation links. It can be a but noisy outside with it being close to the fire department/police station - however the flat has double-glazed windows which blocks this out.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building management have always responded to problems or issues raised in a timely manner.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Nothing in particular to note besides the fact that there is no concierge and no parking spaces available - however this information will be shared with you. Also, make use of the notice board to connect with your neighbours if you ever need any assistance, have questions, etc.
