Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Lovely building with wonderful staff. All of the facilities are well taken care of and in good order. The rooms are smart however the kitchens are very small and there is no oven so bear this in mind. The induction top works great for the stove and there is a smart microwave. Great closet space and the location is second to none.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I have not had anything I have needed to raise with management at this point.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The kitchen size - it is purely functional and not really made for cooking nice meals. You will need to buy additional appliances and potential table top space to make it better.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The location is extremely convenient – just a short walk to both the supermarket and the tram stop. Although the building is on West Street, which gets quite lively on Friday and Saturday nights due to the bars and nightlife, my apartment faces southeast and not directly onto West Street, so it's surprisingly quiet and peaceful. This makes it a great balance between accessibility and comfort.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management responds to emails incredibly quickly, often faster than I expected, and they are always helpful and friendly.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I wish I had known is to be extra careful with the apartment's finishes and walls. I put some things up on the wall which left marks, and a part of my deposit was deducted for that. It was a fair decision overall, but it’s definitely something to keep in mind for new residents.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The James is the best location of the numerous places I've lived in the city centre. Opposite the docks, opposite a train station, close to all shops and bars and business district
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Have required access late at night when I was locked out and the manager and maintenance got me back in within minutes. At midnight!
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
- choose a high room for good views - induction pans required - get an air fryer as no ovens

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Bus stop right across the street as is train station. Bang in the middle of Liverpool city centre. Couldn't ask for a better location.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
When I had a query about my induction hob it was sorted out immediately.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The shared laundry is adequate for tenants in building meaning it's not such a problem to find a free washer/ dryer which was a concern before I moved in. The common areas are very well taken care of, which means its very comfortable to make use of shared spaces. Be mindful that the location is smack in the centre of the city, so if you work odd shifts and be sleeping during daytime you might want to pick a higher level apartment to lessen street noise.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Such a beautiful area to live in within Liverpool city centre. You’ve got stunning walks along the docks, and Castle Street – my personal favourite – is just around the corner, along with all the shops and restaurants in Liverpool ONE. Transport links are amazing too, with James Street Station literally across the road and plenty of nearby bus stops for getting around the city with ease.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Any issues are dealt with straight away. Communication is fantastic!
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I expected it to be a great location and a nice apartment, but I didn’t realise how much the little things – like how responsive and friendly the management team are, how peaceful the building is, and how easy it is to get around the city – would make such a big difference day to day. I also didn’t realise how social and welcoming the community would be. There are often events and opportunities to meet neighbours, which has made settling in really easy and enjoyable. If I’d known all of that earlier, I would’ve moved in sooner!
