I’m currently staying at The James Liverpool and it’s been such a fantastic experience from the very start. The apartment itself is amazing, bright, modern and spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. It really feels like a home away from home and you can tell how much care has gone into every detail. The building is just as impressive. The communal spaces are absolutely stunning. Very stylish, cosy and beautifully designed. There’s always something going on and I love how easy it is to meet people or just unwind in one of the shared areas. It’s got such a great atmosphere whether you want to relax, get some work done, or socialise. Another great feature is their in house app, which keeps you up to date with everything happening in the building from social events to local recommendations. It’s such a thoughtful touch and really helps you feel part of a community, not just a guest passing through. The location is perfect too, right in the heart of Liverpool, close to shops, restaurants, and everything the city has to offer but still peaceful enough when you want some quiet time. What really makes this place special, though, is the staff. Everyone here is so friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. A huge thank you to Ellie, who has been absolutely amazing throughout my stay. She’s warm, professional, and genuinely cares about making sure everything runs smoothly. She’s always gone above and beyond and her kindness really makes such a difference. I’m still here and I have extended my stay! I’d highly recommend The James Liverpool to anyone looking for somewhere stylish, comfortable and full of life. It’s honestly one of the best places I’ve stayed a perfect mix of comfort, community, and class.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They’ve been great — really quick to respond and always helpful. Any small issues I’ve raised have been sorted out efficiently and with a smile.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living here has been mostly positive. The area has a good mix of local shops and some nice restaurants, though not a wide variety of halal options. Open spaces are pleasant and well-kept, good for walks. Transport links are convenient, though buses can be delayed at peak times. The street is generally quiet with little anti-social behavior, but parking can be limited. Bin collections are regular and reliable.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Building management has been generally responsive and professional. Any issues we’ve raised, such as maintenance or minor repairs, have been addressed promptly and efficiently. Communication is clear, and they follow up to ensure problems are resolved satisfactorily.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had known more about the noise levels on certain days, though thankfully the management team has installed panels to reduce it. Transport can be busy at peak times, and parking is limited. A tip for new neighbors is to explore the nearby cafes & Streets—they’re lovely and not always obvious from a viewing.

The location of The James is totally ideal for me. It's very central and close to many shops, bars, and restaurants. Everything is within a short walk, even beautiful open parks. The transport links are exceptional and parking has never been a problem for me. Bin collections are regular and despite being on a busy street the noise is completely acceptable.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I haven't had any issues yet. But should any occur I know it will be dealt with quickly and professionally.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I didn't expect everyone (residents and staff) to be so helpful and friendly. I've only lived here two months and have made some incredible friends.

The James is ideally situation in Liverpool City Centre. Only a minutes walk from the Strand/Albert Docks. Only a couple minutes walk to Liverpool One and the main shopping, dining and entertainment areas. Also regarding transport there is a train station literally across the road and the Liverpool One bus depot only 5 minutes walk away. While it's a busy area there's no anti social behaviour and noise is tolerable and it is a city centre. Perfect location to live literally minutes from everything you could need or want.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I have had no issues at all since I moved in. However anything that has needed attention anywhere in the building has been addressed rapidly in what I have seen so if I do have any issues in future I am confident in how quickly they will be prioritised and resolved.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wasn't aware of all the various groups set up online as part of creating the community feel and there are such a wide variety of interests included there. Also the residents Whatsapp group and some subgroups (interests) is fantastic too. All adds to the community feel which you can engage in as much or as little as you want. It all adds to the appeal of what The James Liverpool offers.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The building is right in the city center with access to a lot of eating outlets and shops in the vicinity. Ample connectivity to various parts of the town by buses and trams. The street side view might get a bit noisy for some people during the weekends but is not a problem for me. The property is in the heart of the city so there is no parking available. There is a temporary spot in front of the building.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management responds to any issues very promptly which is perfect!
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The size of the kitchen area is a bit smaller which everyone might not be comfortable with.
