This is a really clean, nicely designed place to live. The communal lounge is amazing for people who work from home (I'm remote permanently so spend alot of time working in the lounge) the gym is sufficient, really good for beginners or anyone who prefers to work out alone! Property management is amazing, Ellie and Kyla are both incredibly helpful and approachable! The only things I'd request would be a communal toilet on the lounge floor and a retractable roof for the terrace (for the rainy weather) Also, this is such a good place to move too for events/meeting new people!

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

This is the best place in liverpool, it's situated in the city centre, across the road from a train station, round the corner from the bus station, a 2 minute walk into the town centre or to the Albert docks! You can hear noise from wetherspoons until 10pm however, if you close the window the noise is minimal and not disruptive at all.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Quickly and sufficiently, minor issues have been fixed immediately

This is actually a good community, everyone is so welcoming and kind, we plan alot of random events for ourselves along with the ones planned by the building. It's such a good way to network!

The apartments are perfect for one person. It’s clean and of good standard. The lounge is a fantastic space for socialising, and there are plenty of events arranged by the management team. They have created a great sense of community at the James, and you get good value for your money.

The James is located in a great area. It’s close to the water front as well as the main shopping area, so you have everything you need close by. Because it is quite central, there is a lot of city noise but that is to be expected. The area also feels quite safe.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They are quick to respond and eager to be of assistance.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There is a gym room here, but it is quite small/basic, so if you go to the gym a lot, it might not suit your needs. It is perfect for someone who just exercises casually (like me) though.

The James Liverpool has been a delight to live in for the past 1 year and I could not have asked for a better accommodation for 1 person to live in- 1. The studios are very modern and clean. I was very impressed with the high quality showers and sinks fitted in. Hot water is always available and you don’t have to worry about the bills too much as they are fixed. 2. The entire building is spotless clean and tidy including the reception and the communal areas. 3. The management is incredible. The entire team is always available and super helpful and accommodating. John, Ellie, Gabrielle, Kyla and everyone else is so nice, kind and lovely. 4. The maintenance team is very fast and efficient. If I log a complaint, it is usually solved within the same day. They always do a great job and are always willing to help. (Hats off to Gabrielle) 5. The communal lounge is so lovely to sit in. There is a free coffee station there and many board games that you can enjoy with friends. 6. The parcels are always safely received by the reception and safely handed over (Thank you Ellie, John and Kyla) 7. The building is safe and secure. The only few things I think were missing are- 1. There was no washing machine the flat but a communal laundry system. 2. The fridge and freezer are a bit small. I found the kitchen the perfect size for me but others may find it little small. Apart from these small things, the James is an amazing place to live and I would 100% recommend it to any single person living in Liverpool. It has been a pleasure living here for the past 1 year.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Location wise, the James Liverpool could not be better! Best and most convenient street to live in. Right in front of James Street station which made my commute to work super easy. Right next to Liverpool one which was amazing as I could easily go to any shop that I needed to. James street itself is quite a nice street to live in.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They have been extremely helpful and accommodating. The entire team John, Ellie, Gabrielle and everyone are so nice and supportive. They fix any problem you might have straight away. Whenever I logged any maintenance issue, they were fixed within the same day.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It’s very helpful that the bills are fixed! Before moving, I didn't realise how ideal the location is and how convenient it would make my living in Liverpool. The studios do not have their own individual washing machines which is only drawback I felt. Apart from that, it was all mostly perfect!

Management in the building is excellent. Ellie at the front desk is really helpful, especially before and after settling in. Made the move transition so much easier. Really appreciate all her help and effort she puts in. The facilities are really good especially about how clean the place is all the time.

Yet to explore more. The grocery store and city is quite close. Really good that the bus station is just right outside.

As of now no problems raised but very helpful in all other aspects.

The building its self is quite nice. And the fact that it is kept clean is highly appreciated. Ellie at the front desk is really helpful for whatever issue or problems and questions I have. The facilities are just too good to be true. The gym could have been a bit bigger.
