    Constant breakdowns of the heating and hot water, which cost you ~100£ a month. You can wake up and it’s less than 15 degrees in the apartment, this can last for a few day and you get no compensation, so you have to pay for a hotel or stay at friends. The building is constantly dirty - it’s not the cleaners fault! It’s those who live there or who break in - empty bottles of beer, garbage outside the waste bins, uneaten takeaways lying around, etc.

    No access to good quality food in the area, only cheap options are available. Almost no nice cafes around. But you have access to everything that is cheap.

    I wish I knew that it will be so stressful to live there without heating over Christmas.

    Please share one thing (or more) which you would change about your development:

    The heating is unreliable and very expensive. You pay for the gas but the cost is like electricity. The bill is generated by a 3rd party, so you don’t even know who to complain too, as there are too many companies involved. The water bills haven’t been set up for a year, so you don’t know how much you will have to pay and when. The same was with the heating for a year until people got hit with 800 pounds bills for a year consumption.

    I like that everythhing is new. But the elevator got broken. They can't close the ventilation in my flat compeltely and cold air is coming in my flat which means that I need to use more heating. It is a safe place to live in, well designed. I live in a 1 bedroom flat. The rooms are small and there is no space for storage .

    Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

    Croydon is not very great area to live in. The grocery stores and Ikea are close - a lot of outlets you can buy anything you want but it is not good for walking outside

    The flat was empty, unfurnished and the furniture they showed me on the showcase wasn't that good as it was shown on the pictures

    The design is not very good

    New building excellent in excellent condition. No leakages . The building management are not very knowledgeable and helpful . The bathroom is not next to the bedroom and you must pass by the sitting room to reach it .Besides that it is a good value for money.

    The location is nice, near East Croydon station

    It is child friendly. Very safe to live here. The door closer of the fire doors wasn't working . I reported it and they were fast in replying and fixing the issue. The flat is of perfect size. The neighbours are all lovely. It is family friendly too.

    I love where it is we arw not allowed a car i don't like that this building onñy has disabled parking .

    I am very satisfied with the quality of the building. The facilities are quite new and everything is clean. You have 2 communal areas you can go and spend your spare time. It is a gas free building which makes it very cheap. The GP clinic is just opposite the building too.

    The development is in Central Croydon very close to shops and with good transport links
