Nice area to live

We have schools nearby, and for kids there is a very big and nice place to play.
There’s also shopping and services that we need around the area, restaurants, etc.
The building is much bigger than other things I’ve seen in the area and very modern. I have a very nice kitchen in the apartment, fully refurbished.
Management is excellent, they are always available and supporting.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I like that the area is very lively and very easy to commute. We have train station nearby, fats to get to city centre and much cheaper.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The council could be better in collecting bins of garbage, is something I have complaint a lot of times, also the council tax is very high for being zone 6.

Great location, very poor communication from agency, constant hot water and heating issues

Anabow Agency are very unprofessional and rude. There is hardly any hot water and then you have to chase the team to come and fix it and it’s usually never fixed straight away. On top of that I’ve had a cockroach and ant infestation and it took me a very long time to actually get the agency to send out pest control as they didn’t believe me beforehand. There are a lot of things that need to be done in the whole building in regards to pests and the way the actual building was built. It wasn’t built to a good standard it seems rushed and the hot water problems are honestly just a pain as every couple of weeks maybe even once a month the filter in my boiler needs to be changed and it’s affecting everybody else in the building due to the communal boiler not being properly maintenance. At the moment because it’s summer it’s not that bad but during the winter season this is really inconvenient and irritating. Not to mention there are three lifts & at any one time sometimes all of them can be broken one might be working or you might have to take the stairs but they are hardly fixed and when they are it’s not for a full day- by the next day they’ll be broken again.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

There are loads of local shops in the area which is good as the location is basically in between West Croydon and East Croydon train station. Parking on my street you have to pay for or on the actual building premises it’s an extra £100 per month on top of rent. bin collections are regular however the bin shed gets full up very very quickly and garbage is always spewing out of the bin shed.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That the landlord/owners are rude
A lot of things advertised with the property aren’t true or even working

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Some complaints have been answered and most have been ignored & pushed to the side. Have sent the landlord/agency a list of all things that needed to be fixed in the flat and I was ignored. Only think they fixed was the washing machine.

Good location and value

The building is fine, the area is not that good but is close to my work. The apartment itself is spacious and the building management is very good.
I had a problem with the shower and they responded very quickly
We have shopping nearby, supermarkets and restaurants. The transportation is good and convenient. Security is effective in the building.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Is a good location, cheaper than central London. Link is fine to the city by train. Maybe the area is not the best for hanging out but good for what you need in daily life.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It’s upsetting that is a lot of people is sleeping outside, is sad thing to see.

Nicely designed flats

The building exchange court is a nice building it is nice designed but the only issue we will have is it will get really hot during the summer period.

We have a nice open lobby.

There are 7 floors in this building the big issue which we always have in this building like in a month 4 to 5 times is the lifts they are a disaster so if you live on the 7th floor and you an older person or are pregnant or have a baby it’s really difficult to get downstairs but overall I like the design of the building and the quality of the flats inside.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

It’s literally a 5 min walk to the bus station
the shopping high street.

Every shop is near and I don’t have to worry if I run out of something because is have Tesco just on a 2 min walk.

I have a big main station where all the trains and trans come through it’s a 10 to 15 minutes walk. We have a bin collection outside our building and we have a private parking that we tenants can use.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That lifts can be a issue all the time here.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They solve it quickly now and also afterwards they ask if it is fixed or not.
