    Terrible Building Management, Great Location

    Jul 2024

The building management team are an absolute shambles, the lift breaks about 3 times a month, we've had issues in our apartment we've been trying to get fixed for about 3 years that have had at least 10 different handy men out to look at which still haven't been fixed - broken door handles, broken fitted bin, leaks in the roof, etc. It's a great location but the management of the building is one of the most shoddy, poorly run operations I've ever encountered in my life, genuinely shocked that a lot of these people have jobs it's mental.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great location, nice generally well-built apartments, and really well insulated which is great in the winter.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I'd known that if anything broke in the apartment it would be nearly impossible to get it fixed

What is the best feature of your home:

The location of the development is amazing, walking distance to angel and shoredtich and well connected to get anywhere in london

    Excellent city living

The buildings are very well designed around a private courtyard which provides some privacy and refuge from the big road outside. Balconies are lovely and the communal areas are kept brilliantly clean by our on site cleaning team. One of the lifts is always working. Extremely happy with the management of the building.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Excellent area - great transport links, quite a few cafes and pubs, some restaurants. Overall very happy here!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Excellent transport links which very few locations in central london can rival

What is the best feature of your home:

The balcony is lovely - I cant imagine living without it now

    Good complex near Canary Wharf

While the design is basic yet functional, there are recurring issues with humidity and mould. However, with the implementation of a powerful dehumidifier, costing me £300, the issue is now under control. The property manager is highly engaged, which is commendable, but repairs can sometimes take a long time to be sorted. This delay is often due to a lack of communication between the external repair company and A2dominion. Also, the rent has suddenly increased by a lot since the pandemic, with a short notice, which was quite disappointing.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living in this area offers excellent accessibility with Limehouse DLR station just a 6-minute walk away, providing convenient access to public transportation. However, it's worth noting that trains may not be as frequent at times, which could potentially impact travel plans. Additionally, the proximity to a main road may result in traffic noise and occasional congestion. On a positive note, the numerous off-licenses and a Tesco just a 2-minute walk away ensure easy access to essentials, making errands hassle-free. The presence of security for the blocks has also contributed to a decrease in anti-social behavior, creating a safer and more peaceful living environment. Overall, while the area offers great convenience in terms of amenities and transportation links, the frequency of trains and potential traffic noise are factors to consider. Nevertheless, with its accessible shops and improved security measures, it remains a desirable place to reside.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Issues with humidity as the ventilation system is not working properly.

What is the best feature of your home:

I would say its proximity to Central London and Canary Wharf.

Design is good very fashionable but not good materials! The bathroom counter without even using it it starting to show his flaws from just water... building management is good but needs to be cleaned twice per week, once is not enough! Floor gets very dirty. Also it needs to be painted as people as they moved in they made a mess and it looks a bit bad.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Very good connections amazing view from the house. Loads of shops and restaurants etc within g walking distance!

    Perfect London Home

External design is modern yet inkeeping with the london dockside theme, I love the brick slips as they age well. Internally, the space is generous for london with a great amount of storage. Property management has always responded quickly to any issue

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It's a brilliant development and a very good internal specification for fittings and fixtures. The views are unbeatable and location is ideal!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Orientation plays a massive key in which apartment we chose.
