We believe the best information about a residential development comes from the people living there. Owners and tenants have a lot of useful information to share with their prospective neighbours, not just on the property itself and its locality, but also on the developer and the building’s management.

The property we have is a good design and room sizes decent. However, there has been a fair amount of faults appearing over the last two years, and our first 2 years were mostly during COVID, so we good very little done and now we are told its outwith the 2 year move in period. Main problems: 1: bath dropping causing a big gap between bath and tiles. this was fixed. 2: Floor level dropping upstairs causing a 10 mm gap between floor and skirting, this has not been fixed. 3: Ceiling and wall plasterboard retaining nails showing in various rooms. Again, not fixed 4: Doors and windows allow draft. Rear patio door of poor fitting. 5: interior painting poor 6: Rear garden is a great size, but it is full of large stones to boulders and is not even, when creating a vegetable plot, I measured at least one third of the soil was unwanted stones (> 20mm) and rocks The large square used to store the building site material is meant to be developed into a large play area for the local children, but I have since heard mix reports about this and my concern is Persimmons will just bury all there waste there, and 'grass' over it.

Not impressed at the Rough casting falling from the house, last January 2022. NHBC report said there is a fault with the bonding. Persimmon agreed to do the work, which is still not completed, 11 months later. Design of the house; most radiators are behind the doors i.e. all bedrooms, lounge and dining room, the most ridiculous place??

The initial layout looked great, however as time moved on and the estate got bigger, the layout now is very confusing and is like a concrete jungle, the builders are ok, but that's being nice to them. I won't be buying from the same builders again and you do really get what you pay for.

The layout of the area is fine, although it is easy to get lost as the streets aren't well sign posted and all the houses look similar. It is also a large area with lots of children and elderly people, but hardly any pavements which makes walking around the area more of a challenge. It could also have done with more resources, like a park for older children and a community hub.

The overall view of our property is good, the design does not waste any space. Our rear garden is of good size but we are very disappointed with the amount of dumped rumble just under what was supposedly”top soil “. It’s been horrendous trying to get level without removing tons of stone and rumble. Not too impressed with property or building management as we have not had a proper overall check on building inner or exterior. We have raised issues with floor drops, cracks, nails showing and floors creaking, all have got worse in the last year!??
