We believe the best information about a residential development comes from the people living there. Owners and tenants have a lot of useful information to share with their prospective neighbours, not just on the property itself and its locality, but also on the developer and the building’s management.

Eldridge Park, by Berkeley Homes, sits 1.2 miles away from Wokingham Town Centre in Berkshire. With London just 27 minutes from nearby Twyford station, residents here benefit from large open green spaces. As well as this, they have access to a wide variety of pubs, schools and restaurants.

The jokes look good from the outside. Inside, I’ve had numerous snagging issues, ranging from broken/badly fitted radiators, leaking extractor fans, incorrectly fitted shower screens, electrics not wired correctly. It seems their contractors are fairly shoddy and no one is checking their work. Either that or they don’t care either. I also had scratched windows, cracked tiles, scratched fittings and rubble left under the fridge and in the extractor fan! An altogether amateur finish, when they are charging a premium for their properties. Don’t fall for the sales guff. They couldn’t care less about fixing these problems, most of them are still waiting to be fixed after 8 months. Even allowing for 2 months of lock-down, it’s pathetic. They ignore most emails and fob you off saying they will “chase up” contractors.
