Good layout but cheaply made

Verified Resident

The flat is lovely with a great layout, the kitchen and living room is upstairs and the bedrooms are downstairs which I really like. It was built with some cheap material, for example the paint comes off the walls when you wipe it and the carpet was made of bad quality so I had to replace it. The bills are cost effective, which is great. I never find myself having to turn on the heating, it always warm in here and I even called maintenance because I thought the heating was constantly on but it wasn’t, the insulations is just great. We do pay a £300 service is charge which is a lot considering there aren’t many services to offer, a staff member just waters plants upstairs which are dead anyway. The maintenance team are great but there one concierge that doesn’t do much which is annoying.

What is the best feature of your home?

The best feature is the layout, it been done smartly.

Fantastic place to live

Lovely design but very dodgy area. I’ve had a few incidents with people shouting including one event where we had the police looking for someone. The area is also very noisy and we can hear everything from our property.

What is the best feature of your home?

New property everything is clean the lift is also very good.

Convenient

The flat is great! Really big and its built with a modern design. Theres plenty of storage and the space has been used efficiently. The view from the balcony is great but apart from the traffic noise we have no issues with smells or pollution. The residents of development are friendly and its safe to live here. The area has many facilities to offer such as many transport links and shops.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Like – The people around Camden are very friendly, makes it more comfortable living here.
Dislike – We hear a lot of police sirens which is disturbing but not a huge issue.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Getting in or out is tricky as the door is hard to open.

High-spec apartments close to Camden Town

It’s hard to find fault with Barratt Homes’ newly-built Camden Courtyards development. The developers have put together a smart selection of one, two and three-bedroom apartments and duplexes with a fantastic location near Camden Town. Camden is one of London’s most vibrant areas, with eclectic shopping, dining and live music.

Camden Courtyards is a mid-rise building with a number of lovely features. For starters, all units have their own outdoor space in the form of a balcony, plus there’s a landscaped residents’ rooftop terrace. For even more green space, Camden Courtyards can count Regent’s Park and Primrose Hill as its local parks. There’s a concierge service available throughout the day for guest greetings and parcel deliveries.

Residents will find getting around London easy, with both Camden Town tube station and Camden Road Overground station just a short walk away. The Northern Line at Camden Town provides a quick route into either the West End or the City, while the Overground gives residents access to either north-west or East London.

Camden Courtyards apartments are bright and airy, with floor-to-ceiling windows and an open-plan design. The colour schemes are calm and neutral, and storage space is ample. Bathrooms are tiled throughout, and range from en suites with a shower unit to family bathrooms with a three-piece suite.
