Lovely apartment

Verified Resident

The apartment is big and easy to look after and the building looka relatively new and clean throughout and within my apartment when I moved in, only downside is the noisey from the train station. Excellent links and not too busy on match days.

Very central apartment, I love that it’s a new building too however can be noisey because of the train station

Great location

Verified Resident

I have lived in this development for two years. It is managed well and the property manayers are very proactive. All communal areas are kept clean. Our apartment was very well furnished and was in good condition. We have had difficulties with electronic equipment whilst living here but these have been fixed and replaced at our request.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

There is a test of express very near by. This is very convenient. There are other restaurants, grocery stores and pubs within walking distance. A great Park near by. Well connected with overground and tube lines.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

It would have been useful to know more about how the refuse and recycling system worked in the area.

Location fantastic

I viewed a flat with two bedrooms at Drayton and thought it to be of a good size. It had a small balcony and a pleasant view of the grounds (which seem to be well kept). Parking is a novelty in London.

Location could not be better with the stations and town centre easy to get to. My only concern would be the noise from the stadium next door ( I have a two year old), but the agent says the soundproofing is solid, which seems to be backed up by existing residents.

From Emirates Stadium to fashionable Upper Street, this development puts Islington’s best bits on your doorstep

Football fans adore this one. The Drayton Park Apartments can be found in the leafy Islington borough, pulled up right next to Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium. And the development holds its own next to the colossal sports venue – it’s not just your run-of-the-mill block of flats, but a collection of futuristic, angular buildings set in immaculately landscaped grounds.

The apartments are bright and spacious, and done out with white walls and laminate flooring. In other words, a blank canvas to add personal touches to. There are one, two and three-bedroom varieties within the complex, and most come with a balcony or terrace for your own private portion of the outdoors. Those without balconies can enjoy The Drayton Park Apartments’ communal gardens, or head for the sprawling green space of Highbury Fields, 12 minutes’ walk away.

Transport links are top-notch, thanks to the development’s close proximity to Arsenal Underground Station. From here, commuters can reach King’s Cross St. Pancras in just seven minutes, Covent Garden in 12, and Knightsbridge in 20 via the Piccadilly line. Drayton Park Overground is close by, too, for First Capital Connect trains to Moorgate. Those travelling by road will be pleased to hear they get secure parking at the development. Cyclists have somewhere safe to store their wheels, as well.

When you’re not travelling away from home, there’s lots at your fingertips. Upper Street, Islington’s epicentre, is just over a 20-minute stroll from The Drayton Park Apartments. One of North London’s premier eating and drinking thoroughfares, it’s all kitsch cocktail bars and fancy patisseries, and there’s enough quality restaurants here to stop you ever venturing outside the borough.

Nice apartments with good transport links

Verified Resident

Public areas cleaned regularly and well maintained. Some touch up of the paint wouldn’t go amiss.

Apartments well sound proofed even when living next to the Emirates stadium!

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Good tube/train connections with Holloway Road a short walk for food and drink options

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The sound proofing is much better than I expected. Both between the apartments and to the outside.
