It’s fine – just good, I’d say. Lighting was a bit shoddy when I first moved in; the transistors used to burn out but they got sorted out. I had some pest issues, like mice etc, just what you’d expect from anywhere really, but it was sorted out ok. The location’s good and it’s very clean and very safe. Concierge helps it with any issues. Slick and span decor, nice view. It’s modern living, so it’s not the most characteristic build, but if you want something easy and you don’t want to do anything when moving in, then it’s perfect.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Like the garden and it’s pretty peaceful. There’s a bit of antisocial behaviour here and there, but not much. As residents, we don’t get a permit for on-road parking. I have an underground parking space, but if you have a guest etc then you have to pay for a space for them, because we don’t get permits. On weekends it’s difficult to have guests; if Arsenal are playing, the nearest carpark is the NCP which is about a km away.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We’re above a train line, so now and again you hear a very slight murmuring of the train if it’s a very quiet day. So it only happens once a week or so because I’m on the ground floor.

If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:

A few more fitted cupboards and the bedroom slightly bigger. Mainly the fitted cupboard space, but that’s just nitpicking.

Flat very well developed – clean and modern. The park is good and for people who like the gym, there’s a calesthenics area right outside. We’re around Holloway park, too, which is good. The flat was clean and well organized; it had everything I needed, everything provided when I moved in. Fully kitted out. It was unfurnished in my case, that was what I expected. I’m moving soon though because they wanted to increase rent. Bins are 3 floors down, so it’s annoying to take trash out!

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

It’s very close to many different shopping areas, and the tube is good. Good connections, like the Victoria line. Getting to certain areas, like walking to Holloway, isn’t so great. The whole area is quite rejuvenated. I haven’t had any major troubles in the area.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There’s an ice cream van, and kids coming every day to the park but it doesn’t bother me. That might bother people who work from home though.

Great location

The flat’s modern, great to have the park next door. It’s quiet, we have an outdoor space which is great, and we have good neighbours. The flat’s well furnished in terms of fixtures and fittings. The appliances were all in the kitchen and the bathroom was all kitted out. It’s all done to a high standard. There’s underground parking too which is handy.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Quiet though close to upper street and Highbury and Islington. It’s a family area, its nice to see kids in the park. It’s quite safe – there’s not too much crime. Negatives – it’s expensive as tenant, though it’s probably expensive to buy too.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Gets really hot in summer, because it’s really well insulated!

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Really good, always quick to sort things out and they’re available 24/7. Once an appliance broke, and they got in touch with the relevant people. They let in the letting agents (aftwr checking with us). They take care of things like deliveries and window cleaners.

our apartment really nice. a bit small but definitely cosy, and built to a good specification. wasn’t furnished when i moved in apartment from a bed but that wasn’t a problem. there’s an underground car park if we need it. concierge is great, always use them and collect deliveries for us. overall an amazing apartment!

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

i really love the area. the transport links are great easy to get to anywhere with a great location. safe environment, our development is off the main road so it’s nice and quiet. we have a park a stones throw away. there’s always things going on in the high-street, and neigbores throw seasonal event in the local park.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

there’s a sewage pipe that runs through our flat, there was once sewage leaking to our toilet recently as it burst, however that was fixed.

The flats are beautifully designed, modern but unique, many with lovely balconies. The concierge is fantastic, hand delivering parcels and post to your front door, always ready to help with any problems big or small. we have always felt extremely well taken care of.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The area is perfect, with a lovely neighbourhood feel (never noisy/never heavy traffic)yet still so close to both Angel and Highbury, both full of wonderful shops, independent butchers, fish mongers and grocery stores. Transport could not be better, Highbury and Islington, Barnesbury and Angel tubes all so close by. Underground carpark, where bins are stores and collected every Tuesday. The flats are beautifully designed, modern but unique, may with lovely balconies.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

How to change all of the different light fixtures.

What is the best feature of your home:

The location is superb, quiet and peaceful yet within walking distance to Angel and Highbury, and right next door to Highbury Fields. The park in front of the building is a delight to look out on to.

A wonderful new development

The building is architecturally interesting and unique. My flat is bright and spacious.

The concierge is outstanding!

The buildings are always clean and well taken care of.

Problems with internal lifts and car lifts have been problematic but finally seem to have been remedied.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Islington is wonderful, full of culture and a lovely mix of people, close enough to the centre of town but far enough away to feel like a proper neighbourhood.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I’d known more about the electrics, as well as what companies were used to install heating, wiring etc

What is the best feature of your home:

Floor to ceiling windows, spacious balconies, beautiful open plan kitchen!

Well connected

The flat is very well designed with good appliances. I enjoy the balconies and underfloor heating in that comes with the flat. The development is very modern and good quality. I enjoy my experience living here.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Next to good parks and close to train stations that will quickly take you into central London. The area itself is very quiet and quite family orientated. There are also lots of pubs and restaurants nearby.
Nothing to dislike about the area.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Annoying to take the bins down

What is the best feature of your home:

Balcony is really nice, with great views of sunset.

Love the view

The property is great! The design on the inside is very cool – the outside looks stark and angular but then the inside is quite rounded in terms of its design.
Because it’s a penthouse, I have floor to ceiling Windows. It’s duplex so the windows are 2 floors. The second bedroom is great too.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I like that it’s mixed socially economically, the area’s also ethnically diverse, too. You feel like you’re nowhere near the centre of town, then 5 seconds and you’re in the centre of town. You’ve got Highbury fields close by and Hampstead Heath, too.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There was some scrimping and saving going on with the things behind the scenes. They used really cheap contractors, but now we’ve sorted that that after 8 years. It’s actually irrelevant for someone moving in now as all of those issues have been sorted out.

What is the best feature of your home:

I love my open plan kitchen, but the best feature has to be the floor to ceiling windows, I get the view of the most beautiful sunsets every day.

Diverse edgy area

Review Date Sep 2019

The property and development has a good design and the square/park which the property overlooks is very nice. There is also underground parking, although there can be some trouble with the lift to the parking sometimes.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

The location is very good, near central London. A very diverse edgy area. There is good nightlife and good shops nearby.
Nothing to dislike about the area.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Don’t rely on the car lifts, lift breaks down quite often.

What is the best feature of your home:

The view from the property is very nice as it overlooks a square/park.

Convienent central flat

Review Date Sep 2019

Very happy with the property. It is well designed and spacious. There is a concierge, which is very helpful for parcels being delivered. The sound proofing is good for a new build and the development is well maintained.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Convienent central London flat close to my work. The flat is also close to lots of restaurants, pubs and shops.
Convienent, central, shops, restaurants and pubs. There is nothing I dislike about the area.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Trip to the bins is inconvenient.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Not had any isssues that have needed to be responses to but any email communication has been quickly responded to.
