Overall the build quality is good of Sterling square however the management company of the building are very poor, non responsive, and not accountable there are of issues with the residents that are not resolved. Had to escalate multiple times but they didn’t help

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good access to local shops town centre, station, and even green park. Most are within walking distance

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very very poor, had to chase them a serval times still didn’t progress as expected

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The management company needs to change as there is no value for the fees

The design and appearance of the development is great

The design and appearance of the development is great, it looks very modern and the garden at the rear is a great advance especially being so central. It lacks visitor parking but otherwise has parking for residents. The property is managed well with contact information for residents to report problems.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The development is very close to the town centre and oracle as well as having many small convenience stores close by. There's parking for each flat but no visitor parking st all.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The management have responded but sometimes there has been a long delay in getting a response to important issues.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had known there is no visitor parking including no nearby streets with visitor parking permits so this makes it tricky when having visitors.

Spacious bedrooms, however, the booster fan is in a awkward place, restricting wardrobes and other items to be placed in that surrounding.

Spacious bedrooms, however, the booster fan is in a awkward place, restricting wardrobes and other items to be placed in that surrounding. There’s no security in the entire building, which would have been beneficial as some visitors tend to smoke cannabis in the staircases.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Good aspects: the property is new build, the bedrooms are spacious, close to shops, transport and town centre Bad aspects: limited parking spaces, no security, close to the main road causing noise

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There’s very limited parking space and the area is very noisy.

We found some flaws in the development .like security is not setup properly. It was said before security is available and later we came to know there are not major security measures. Lot of noise in Balcony due to wind

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

    It’s a very good location

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Minor problem has been address but major problem are still to be fixed

    A new happy home

    Sept 2021

I’m really happy with the development, well located well designed. The team are a pleasure to deal with. I’ve had little to no snagging, and whilst the post sales team could be a little more responsive, I’m largely Happy with how these have been dealt with. The flats themselves are really nice, spacious with good facilities and energy efficient appliances. It’s a great location.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

This location is great, I am a short 10 minute walk to the centre of town and their are local amenities even closer by. The street is quiet, although I am on the quieter side of the development. 25 minutes to London, on top of a 15 minute walk.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, although the response can be slow At times, I’m still chasing one outstanding issue raised over three weeks ago.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Social housing, whilst not liable for service charge directly, can push the cost of this up through anti social Behaviour / repair work.
