Sellar reviews

“It’s a great flat in an amazing location. It’s within 2 minutes of the station, there’s local shops and amenities all within walking distance and there’s a park also within walking distance of the development. There’s a good train service with regular trains to central London and elsewhere.” – Abu, verified resident at Canada Water

High quality flat in a good location.

Overall, the flat is to a high standard and property management is attentive. However, there are a few issues. The main one is that noise from upstairs flats can be quite horrendous as you can hear every tiny footstep. It’s true that you don’t hear flats to the side of you but trying to sleep with banging upstairs can be frustrating. Another thing is the blinds in the lounge and non-bedrooms don’t block the light so on a hot day working from home it’s annoying. If you can get a flat on the top floor I’d still recommend this place, though.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

A lot of young professionals live here but there aren’t many restaurants/bars locally. You are so close to Southwark Park and Stave Hill which are great benefits. Lot’s of travel options out of the area too + we just got Boris bikes.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There’s bike storage! No one seems to use it but it’s there. I’d also just reiterate the point about noise from upstairs neighbours.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Mostly well. I did once have broken washing machine which they didn’t get round to for 2 weeks but aside from that it’s been good.

In overall development is really nice, they have a gym (although you have to pay for it) which is good. My room as i am very high up so i have a really good view of the area. The rooms are really nice and spacious even while living with other people. The security is really good as they have a 3 step security.

Amazing student apartment

The apartment is great, everything came very new and was fully furnished when i moved in. I’m a student renting here and a down side is it doesn’t come with desks. However it does comes with gym which i pay a little extra for and little common lounge. Also theres balconies but we’re not allowed on it. On the third floor theres a terrace with great views of the city including canary wharf. When i want to visit another persons flat I unfortunately don’t have access to their floor which is inconvenient as a student, but does give me peace of mind for safety.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I really like how close the accommodation is to the canals. theres a great, warm atmosphere here with a skateboarding scene, and also near the tube. would day its also pretty safe

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The student rooms closet space are a bit small which is annoying
