Location is perfect and the grounds are secure with a private parking space per flat. The management company are responsive and act on any issues effectively. The flat itself has everything you need but the build quality is poor. The electric boilers don’t have timers so are very expensive to run (turning it manually on and off everyday) and you can hear everything your neighbour above you is doing. If you can get past these, the rate is competitive compared to the rest of the city.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location is perfect for commuting into the centre of Liverpool

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The electric boiler not being on a timer is an absolute pain. If you forget to turn it off, expect a large bill. If you forget to turn it back on, cold shower.

What is the best feature of your home:

Two bed and two bathrooms for the price with a balcony

Overpriced flats not in the city

We were very disappointed with the building, you could hear people constantly in the corridors and doors slamming and numerous times the lift would brake. The pipes were extremely noisy and it took management 12 months to get a plumber to fix our broken pipes. My car parking space wasn’t anywhere near my flat entrance and I had to request a new one. The interior of the flat was very modern, clean and new however the washing machine was not vey good.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It was quite a rough area, many times there has been police tape cordoning off the road due to shootings and stabbings near by. The main road at the front of the flat was busy all day and night and very loud with lorries. The train station right in the front of the house was good for transport links but also woke us up at 5am and kept us up until midnight due to the noise. It was only a 35 minute walk into the city. There is a big Tesco and Asda 10 minutes drive and also little shops for necessities. There is a pure gym right out front. The view of the river was also nice.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish we had known how loud the train would be all day and night and also how dangerous the area was at night when walking to and from town. I also wish we had known how hot the flat gets in the summer as the sun shines on it all day and the big glass doors made it like a greenhouse and unbearable to be in on a summers day.

What is the best feature of your home:

The balcony with the view of the river was the best feature and the modern interior.

I like that its modern, secure and a safe area to live due to the key cards etc. I like that both bed rooms have ensuites. The kitchens are small but they have everything that you need, it is all open plan.

Only one car space. Main living area is fairly small but have a balcony which is really nice. The bedrooms are very good size with ensuites. Not a big issue with management but not super quick at helping.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Proximity to town, close to sefton park. Area around the flat is run down.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They only responded after nagging for a while but would eventually fix.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

No, everything was advertised when we came to view.
