Multiplex
Previously Brookfield Multiplex, Multiplex is a leading international construction contractor based in Sydney, Australia. Multiplex operates in Europe, Australia, India, Canada and the Middle East, specialising in high-rise and mixed-use residential schemes. Strata, by Multiplex, is a 43-storey high-rise in Elephant & Castle. Soaring to 148 metres-high, it's been nicknamed 'The Razor' thanks to its unusually shaped summit. It was the tallest residential building in South London when it was built, and the first building to have wind turbines incorporated in its design. Strata houses 408 apartments including a selection of luxurious penthouses. "Is a nice place, staff are friendly and the building is designed well. The only problem is that it gets far too hot – the glass windows (especially facing south) lead to overheating even in winter. The heating system in the tower also contributes to this heat. Elephant and castle is a up and coming area and development will certainly increase the attractiveness of this development." – Will B, verified resident at Strata

Very good value considering the location. A lot of construction nearby but I never hear any noise on floor 10. Concierge are excellent and I've never had any issues with deliveries plus they are very responsive whenever there's been an issue in the flat. The main downsides are firstly that the lifts are frequently not working so you're left waiting a while with a crowd of other people for the single functioning lift. Secondly, it gets very hot in summer. For a building with this much glass it's kind of crazy they didn't build in any AC.

Views are amazing, we’re on the 31st floor and see iconic landmarks such as St Paul’s and London Eye. High enough away from the ground, that noise levels are minimal. Beautifully kitted out Apartments and tastefullly designed. Very central location in zone 1, close to shops and transport, plus improving all the time with significant regeneration happening in the area

I've lived in Strata for a few years now and there is no better location in London! Everything is within an easy walk or short tube / bus ride. The building has a lively and active residents association with a welcoming atmosphere.

Transport is good here it's close to buses, trains and tube lines, the Northern and baker look is just around the corner. Shopping here is brilliant, there is a shopping centre, supermarkets and restaurants nearby.

I like being so central I don't think it's too bad it's obviously expensive but it's expected for where we are and it is in London, the people here are of a higher class so not very talkative and there's a lot of Chinese students too, the transport links are great and there's a shopping centre across the road so everything is in an arms reach,
