New build studios are compact but modern. Clean and economical to run. Very cheap bills. I feel this is the perfect home for a single person or a couple that don't mind living in very close quarters. 1 and 2 bed apartments very spacious. Only 1 bedroom or studio available in new build style but older builds are well maintained.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area has good local amenities, is a short 15 minute commute to the city center via local public transport. Parking at browns green is good although dedicated spaces for tenants near there property would be a good idea I feel. On site security is added bonus.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Overall very good. Did have maintenance issue that took some time to repair in my previous property. But was fixed and made good. All other issues sorted very quickly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That I needed to pay for repaint when I moved out. After changing the colour. It however does state this in tenancy agreement, my fault for not reading through this. Do feel the charge was rather high as property would need to be repainted anyway.

The apartment itself is clean, easy to maintain and people come every week or so to cut communal grass and windows. However this area does not promote recycling as there is only one garbage collector. No facilities apart from a small communal grass. No elevator in a modern 3 floor house is honestly ridiculous. The stars are not eve inside but outside in the cold, rain etc.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

There is not support if hot water or anything do not work over the weekend. I have to wait one however for the boiler to be ready to use the hot water every day and as a nurse, I come home late in the night and I often have to go back to work early 7 am back to work so having to wait that extra hour is not ideal but there is no other option. If I program the boiler to start at a specific time, it does not do it so I have to be there in the night and turn it on. Response during the week days are also very slow. Everything is electronic so if things do not work, I will have to find my own alternative way for at least the next 2 days. The security services is just useless because they just open the gate without making sure that whoever is coming is not dangerous. You just say a number and the name of the buildings and he let you in without checking with the person who live in the building is so and so can come in.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Really bad response, unsupportive and stressful. No understanding when needing support at all.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I knew that services were this slow and

    Property management can be slow

The development is built to a decent standard and don’t really hear your neighbours like I have done in previous properties and buildings are well Insulated. Property management can be slow as I have reported things in the last and have been waiting a while to hear back.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The parking is fine on this estate and there is enough parking for everybody. Transport links are good as you have Hamstead train station which is is about a 15 minute walk and this takes you into Birmingham city centre and you have the 16 bus that takes you to the city centre in about 10 minutes with shops and a supermarket within a few minutes drive. The area is quiet and you don’t hear a thing. It would be good if the development had a shop on site which would benefit all residents.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

When I have reported an issue or work that needed to be done and I have been waiting months and still not heard off anybody.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There is nothing I wish I had known and I’m happy with where I live.

A safe development with short commute to city centre.

Propertys are well designed. Adequate parking is available although if coming back in late evening parking in car park near your property can be full. But as there is more than one car park parking can be found in one of the other car parks near by. No electric charging points available and as the government plans for electric cars to be the majority this may become an issue in the next couple of years if this is not planned for.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Evenbrook browns green is in a good location. With a 15 minute commute to Birmingham City centre by car or public transport. Local shops are adequate. The area is safe and gated.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Any issues I have had have been delt with very quickly.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

As a company car driver option to charge car in car park would have been good as this would have ment I would be able to have chosen an electric vehicle. As the government plan to make all cars electric in time this should be looked into.

I live in one of the new studio’s and the size, cleanliness, and design is amazing. The only downfall is not having a elevator of some sort, especially when bringing furniture up 3 flights of stairs but overall the grounds are kept tidy and lovely and I love that it’s gated.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area is great for shops which aren’t too far away, Hampstead village is down the road. I’ve never really struggled for a parking space by my flat and the grounds are nice and quiet, there’s no anti social behaviour at all, I’ve noticed that the bins are collected a few times during the week which is nice but no recycling, I take it to my moms or recycle centre.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They’ve always been prompt & helpful with any issues I have
