    Sadly the experience of enjoying my new home has been marred by the poor communication with the aftercare team. They pressure you to give them 5 stars by promising to resolve your snagging quickly but beware once you do they disappear for the hills. One shocking comment on an issue I’ve had with my mismatched fence which I was promised would be resolved before final sale is still not resolved 14 months on. They did after me threatening to pull out make all the posts and baseboards the sane but used different coloured fence panels. I’ve been promised in writing multiple times it would be resolved and today I was told “ it will look the sane in a couple of years” now what you expect from a builder who supposedly prides them selves on customer service. Sadly they give the talk but don’t follow through. My advice DO NOT complete the survey until you’re happy no matter what they push you to do.

    Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

    Parking is poor as the road is only wide enough to park on one side. Location is a small walk to shops and it’s a lovely village.

    Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

    Wish I’d been able to see the home days before I finally signed so I could have applied pressure to resolve some of the snagging before I had purchased

    What is the best feature of your home:

    My home is a good size and the finish is fair, snagging is slow which sadly keeps the feedback k low.

    Design and layout of the property overall very good, few snags that needed addressing after moving into property. A handful were sorted but others were not, and have either been sorted by ourselves or not addressed at all to date. Feel like communication from snags team was very lacking and disjointed at times regarding these issues. We were not really made aware that the property would be supplied with LPG gas rather than mains. But energy consumption for the property is pretty good so makes up for that in some way. Traffic management in and around ongoing 2nd phase of development is also less than ideal. Many wagons and loading machines and vans moving through the unusual narrow estate roads, with very to no traffic management in place. Often wake up or come home to wagons parked across driveway entry when there is a site yard just up the road. Having said that we are overall quite happy with our property and surroundings.

    Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

    4 different supermarkets within 10 minutes driving distance. Very nice pub and restaurant just around the corner 2 minutes walking. All in all most amenities very close by and accessible. Parking on street very limited due to narrow roads running through development. And some noise from the main road below.

    More information about the management cost of the amenities area. Information on the gas supply not being mains gas but LPG supply from shared tank.

    What is the best feature of your home:

    We are quite happy with the kitchen looks.. and also pleased with the en-suite finish.

    The building itself is built to a good standard very warm and cosy the garden isn’t level and should of had a bit more time spent levelling it off as it will be very difficult getting a digger down the back to fix it. Brilliant central heating system

    My local area is brilliant for family’s lots to do with the kids and everything you need is within a 5 minute walk. Lovely pub at the bottom of the road which serves lovely food and shops and takeaways close by. Brilliant location for commuting close to the a55

    I wish I knew that they wouldn’t finish off the garden

    The best feature of the home would be the central heating

    Super development with good designs and very helpful building manager who always helped if needed. Not had contact from Propery Management as yet. The houses are all different and those with are the same are spread out.

    Very quiet area with magnificent views of countryside and coast yet only 1 mile from all shops pubs buses etc

    None that we can think of

    What is the best feature of your home:

    A garage big enough for our car and a dining kitchen with lots of space and great windows.

    Design of the property is fine, really like the two tiered garden. Have had a few issues with the management/maintanence fee. Overall it’s been good. Facilities are out of castle greens control, but not too much in the way of ‘social’ or night life. Very good for a peaceful life.

    Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

    Plenty of open spaces and a lot of local shops. Prestatyn is the closest for any local bars.

    Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

    Could be better at dealing with the ‘bigger’ snags.

    What is the best feature of your home:

    The views from the back and unrivalled. Nothing backs onto us and we have view of the hill.
