Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Papermill House benefits from a fantastic location with views over both town and countryside. Unfortunately, the experience is significantly marred by poor property management. There are ongoing maintenance and safety issues, including problems with parking, security, broken lifts, garbage and refuse management, and regular ongoing issues with thefts. Communication from management has been very poor, with a consistent lack of responsiveness to reported issues, leaving many concerns unresolved.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The biggest problem is the ongoing poor property management

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It's a nice location, right next to the canal so lovely views. Theres a corner shop opposite to the building for quick needs and its a 5-10 min walk away from uxbridge town centre, very close to a lot of amenities and the train station and a gym less than 5 minutes away. Relatively clean aside from occassional littering outside the building. There is a car park right beside the building. Bin collection is good.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Very quickly and very well. Have had a good experience with this

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The flats get very hot and there is not air conditioning, some flats don't have windows in the bedrooms so be wary of the heat especially in summer. Good for winter though.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

This is a good location in terms of quick and easy access to town centre, trains/bus stations, shops and stores. The environment is clean, cool and safe with zero crime reports. The bins are collected in due time which make the bin are clean and clear.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I have not raise any issues so far except my flat main entrance when I move in and it was fix in within few days

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I gave out my big wardrobe and I discovered the wardrobe here is like half of my old wardrobe 😂

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Locations of the building is amazing, everything that you need is close by. A lot of transport just nearby 2 min away

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Responding fast, but not doing any action to fix any problems inside the flat

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

My personal opinion before the tenant moved in , better to arrange the check-in report with a new tenant and do all the checks with tge person, who is going to live there. Then nobody will be disappointed

Quality of local shops is great

Mercantile House, UB8

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Quality of local shops is great, availability and transport links are excellent. Anti- social behavior is really average.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They just replied that they aware of the issues but takes a month to resolve it or they just say it’s not their responsibility to do that issue and we have to call police or contact with council and these two organizations will say it’s your landlord and building management responsibility.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

If they were aware of the building lift issue which is always out of order or just one of them is working. And about CCT which is not working in this building.
