Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great access to both the M1 and M25. Watford Underground station is a 15 minute walk with Watford Junction Station just a bit further. A Morrisons supermarket on the doorstep and all other major supermarkets just a short drive away. There are lots of nice restaurants and pubs to visit and Cassiobury Park is just a few minutes walk away.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

There was an issue with the EV chargers in the car park and the team responded very quickly and it was sorted within a few days.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The apartment says at a constant 19-20 and so far I’ve not had to put the heating on, the only disappointing aspect is the standing charges are more than the cost of my energy usage. The water has a high mineral content which makes it taste different, I prefer to buy my drinking water.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Medium quality of local shops, not so much in this area just one Morrissons. It would be nice to have more open spaces recreation areas, fitness and picnic/ meditation near, although we have one park inside it is a bit noisy and crouded all the time.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The romanian guys are professionals but that’s it.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We had in one year and 3 months of staying here some incidents: problems from the beginning with the windows, after one year they did not solved it entirely, we have leaks it rains and the windows have handle problems, also when it is windy you can ferl the breeze and also the noises very loud. The next one: our motorcycle was stolen from our parking spot, the security means one in the whole area, except another one at the reception per night. The case was brought up but the landlord had nothing to say, neither the authorities we took care on our own basically one sad incident and that was it. Nothing to compensate! Also we have one cat and when they did arrived in our apartment to solve the windows (we were put for 6 hours) they closed the cat in the bathroom and we found it traumatized, also they did not solved the windows as I said in the beginning. It is too pricey for what it has to offer! We have problems with the equipment in the gym and it took for about 4 months to solve on basic maintenance issue. The elevators are often having problems aswell and the stairs have a high risk of falling downward. Also when we first moved in it was a hard smell of mold and we can still feel it if we are gone for some hours.

The location is great with the town Center and station so close to. Parking is available but not very cheap .unfortunately there is an issue with the buildings nearby with anti social behaviour .

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They responded but never resolved such as the constant fire alarm issues . Was told different reasons on one occasion . Someone using an air fryer and a fault with the alarm system .

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

need to be aware of the issues with the fire alarm and how noisy the place is

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

It is close to the Watford Centrum and Watford General Hospital. No traffic or anti-social behavior was experienced.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I have even not embraced a single pitfall since they were all foreseen and solved in advance.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

If I had known about the Cortland Cassiobury Flat Compound in advance I wouldn't have lost time and energy searching for other places.
