Hadley Homes Limited reviews

“London’s exclusive SW10 area is well-known for its class and style, and the waterside Chelsea Island development from Hadley Property Group is right at home here. It’s a striking and contemporary structure, with staggered heights and a façade that encompasses brick, glass, stone and timber. Rising up from a pretty, piazza-style space next to Chelsea Creek, it offers sweeping views across the capital and the River Thames.” HomeViews Property Pro, Chelsea Island

Lots of facilities

The area is really good. Looks very nice. Lots to do here. There are two theatres, a cinema. However some the areas are facilities are extremely expensive. The worst thing about living here is the parking price as it is £35 a week. There isn’t anywhere in the complex for children to play in. The concierge service is quite good. The fob will only work on the floor you have been assigned to so if you want to get to another floor u are unable to do so unless you have their contact details.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Lots of facilities available , it feels like las vegas. There are lots of markets and theatres.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I had a lot of stuff and it was quite small, the design of the flat is quite odd as the kitchen and living rooms are designed very awkwardly.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

I havent really had any big problems but there was a company called inside energy and the bills were riduclous and it was also very unorganised. There has also be two deaths due to a fire being caused because of a faulty microwave that had been caused since i have been living here.

Lots of local shops

There are a lot of local shops nearby which are accessible until late at night. There are also a lot of facilities available and the design of the development is really nice too. It is also easy to access the DLR as it is very close.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Local shop there isnt really anything i dislike

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Joint rubbish thing is really annoying and rubbish smells so bad

What is the best feature of your home:

The bacony is the best feature as it very big and it gets very hot in the flats so its nice to come out.

Adequate, but poor building management.

Apartments quite well designed, although lacking in storage space. Courtyard not well designed, as any noise funnels up and can be heard inside all the apartments. No air conditioning or solar panels installed. There is a roof garden, but that is not allowed for residents to use, due to very poor design of entry and exit points. Terrible building management, requires multiple complaints for any issues to be dealt with, and intercoms have been out of order more than they have been working since I moved in.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

Good local transport links to mainline rail and buses to the tube. Near to Greenwich Park, which is a great open space and 30 min walk to the 02, 20 min into Greenwich itself. Local bars and restaurants pretty good, although traffic on Trafalgar Road can be very bad. No parking availability outside the development, some anti-social behaviour (thefts from property already reported).

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Just how bad the building management really is.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

only just beginning to address some of the many outstanding issues now.

I love living here!

Our building is phase 3 in this development, meaning it is the newest and therefore, in my opinion, the best. It benefitted from the latest trends in terms of design and facilities. We have a massive bike storage, actually we have access to two of them. Also access to the courtyard, which is so peaceful and green and a little added bonus, a pingpong table :). Literally like an oasis in the middle of the city.
As for the management, I feel like they still have to learn how to deal with this many people, but I can definitely say that since we moved here, the management improved and they learned from they’re mistakes.
We had some cosmetic snags, that were fixed in a couple of months after we moved in and can confirm that the flats are really well insulated and warm during the cold winter months.

Please tell us what you like and dislike about this area:

I love this area, it is close to the Greenwich Park, close to the hustle and bustle of Greenwich centre with its market, restaurants and shops and close to walk on the riverbank. I really feel it has everything!

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

I wish I had a better floorplan and more accurate measurements. This way it would’ve been easier to order the furniture (the floorplans were just roughly giving the sizes of each room)

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They took the issues one by one (there weren’t many) and solved them in a timely manner.
