Find Belgravia, Pimlico, and Westminster (SW1) to the southeast and South Kensington (SW7) to the south. Kensington (W8) is southwest of the postcode, with Holland Park and Notting Hill (W11) to the west.

W2 transport connections

W2 sits in an extremely well-connected part of the west-central London. One of London’s busiest transport terminals, Paddington Station, lies slap bang in the middle of the area, providing access to the Bakerloo, Circle, District and Hammersmith and City underground lines as well as mainline rail services.

The area has several further underground stations, including access to the Central Line at Lancaster Gate. By road, the area offers two major routes away from central London in the A5/Edgware Road, which heads north towards the M25 and M1, and the A40/Westway, which heads through north-west London towards the M40.
