The annual HomeViews Awards allow us to recognise and showcase those developers and operators who are pushing standards higher.
The Awards will be announced at the UKAA Festival of Build to Rent in November. However, just to get things warmed up we thought we’d introduce some of the outstanding developments currently in the running for a Residents’ Choice Award. Here we’ll take a look at the contenders for the title of Top BTR Development in London.
BTR in 2020
It would be something of an understatement to day that 2020 has been a challenging year for the BTR industry. Developers and operators have had to adapt to rapidly-changing circumstances and maintain customer service levels in a dramatically different landscape.
However, we have seen BTR operators going above and beyond to ensure residents are well looked after. Our 2020 Awards will reveal those companies who were best able to the pandemic and all its associated challenges. As we explain below, we’re making sure that reviews from 2020 will have the most impact on our awards.
Awards judging criteria
The list below offers a rough guide to some of the BTR developments that could feature in the final Top 10 list in November. The list below is based on overall ratings from all reviews for those developments. However, the 2020 rankings will be assessed purely on reviews submitted in 2020.
Reviews from previous years are published on HomeViews but we want our awards to reflect the most up-to-date opinions of residents. This means we can celebrate operators who have made efforts to source regular reviews. It also gives a fairer view of those developments who are addressing resident concerns and seeing their scores improving as a result.
