Where should I buy in Zones 3 and 4?

zone 3 and 4

Location, Location, Location – this comes up consistently as the main reason why a resident chooses where to live. Not many can afford to live in central London however zones 3 and 4 are home to a number of new build developments offering more of us the opportunity to buy a little piece of London.

On HomeViews we ask all residents to rate their location out of 5; as well as separately asking them to tell us what they like and dislike about it. In the main reviewers tend to rate the locations of their developments highly; and in London the average resident location score is 4.34 out of 5.

Compared to the regions where close proximity to work is preferred Londoners are looking for easy and fast transport connections. Many of the high location scores for London are in what many would describe as ‘commuter’ locations. This enables those working in the city centre to benefit from a reasonable commute; whilst still feeling like they have escaped the city at the end of the day. For London, this also reflects the more affordable rent and purchase prices away from central London.

Many locations in zones 3 and 4 benefit from fast transport connections, a range of local amenities within walking distance and green open spaces. We have highlighted 5 developments in zones 3 and 4 either with new phases launching, off plan purchases for you to consider and most with Help to Buy.
