The average South Yorkshire property price stood at just over £211,000 in December 2024. Flats in South Yorkshire sold for an average of £145,000 and terraced houses for £159,000. Semi-detached homes went for around £198,000 on average, with detached properties achieving £331,000.
How does this compare to rentals? The average price for a rental property in South Yorkshire is £964 PCM. One-bedroom homes were let for £775 PCM, while five-bedroom properties went for £1,794.
