I really love the building. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. The design is very modern and appealing. The flats are very lovely! I do not love that lower flats have carpet but understand this keeps the price lower. I love the terrace, it’s a fantastic space. Perhaps a pool next time 😂! The building is very safe and I have no concerns with packages I order missing or getting lost. Concierge are very friendly and helpful. I really love the new coffee shop addition.

I think the building is placed very well. We are very close to all amenities, the shops, parks etc! I dislike that it is so close to a very busy main road as it can be very loud throughout the day and evening.

If you love light – make sure you choose a side where you have a bright flat. I am very grateful we chose the side that has mostly direct sunlight the majority of the day! This was really important for me.
If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:
I would change the carpet to hardwood flooring. We are facing a busy road which is very loud at times, but I appreciate most flats face the busy road.
Best place to live in Leicester!!
Faultless. The accommodation is one of the nicest environments I’ve been in, full of glamour and beautiful decor. The staff are all amazing, and genuinely care about your wellbeing 24/7. They’ve always been more than happy to help, and often go the extra mile to make sure I have what I need. The amenities such as the roof top and communal area are a real added luxury, and offer even more space to relax and socialise, outside of the already superb rooms.

Great central location to live. Literally across the road from the main shopping centre in Leicester so couldn’t have asked for any better!
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Not anything really, wish we had been able to get an apartment on a higher floor!
What is the best feature of your home:
The best feature is the shared living spaces around the building as they are always clean and inviting.
Great place to live!
The building is built and maintained to a very high standard. I rent a 2 bedroom furnished apartment, its well designed and has a modern stylish finish. The building management team are warm, friendly and extremely professional plus there is always someone available to help with any query I have, no matter small. Overall, I am extremely happy living here, I would recommend to anyone who wants modern contemporary city living.

The apartment block is in a great location opposite Highcross shopping centre, with all the bars and restaurants that it has to offer. It is also a quick walk to the main shopping centre, the cultural quarter and the train station. It’s very easy to exit the city to get to the motorways, so overall extremely well positioned.

Make sure you book your car parking space early, the good ones go very quickly!
If there is one thing you would change about your flat or property what would it be:
The only issue I had was with the referencing process which is handled by a 3rd party, it took longer than I expected.
Living the dream
Living near the main road you would think you would hear the traffic. You hardly hear a thing! That’s a real bonus.
Management/concierge team are great, friendly and always willing to help, they make living here feel even better.
Wouldn’t want to live elsewhere

Classy, friendly, well designed, a great place to live!
The Wullcomb is a very stylish building right in the centre of the best part of Leicester. There is real attention to detail about the interior design right from the Post Room to the Reception space and the beautiful shared living space which hosts a cinema room and a roof terrace with fire pit, BBQ and pizza oven. The finishing touches throughout the building really make it feel classy. All the staff who work here are friendly, helpful and care about making your living here the best experience it can be. It’s easy to raise any facilities issue via a web portal, to which the response is prompt and professional. Apartments are spacious and well designed and being in the centre of a busy city, surprisingly quiet!

Leicester has good transport links with two bus stations in the city centre which can take you to surrounding beautiful rural areas such as Bradgate Park, and a train station where you can get to London in 1 hour. All the shops, bars, restaurants are situated close together and there is a real buzz about the place on a weekend. The cultural quarter offers a fabulous theatre and there are visitor attractions such as King Richard III and New Walk Museum.

Exact price of utilities, which isn’t really in the hand of the developer to be fair
What is the best feature of your home:
Everything is well designed at the Wullcomb, so it’s easy living in stylish surroundings
A great place to live
I’m very pleased with my apartment, so much so that I have just extended my lease. My apartment itself is finished to a high standard, and the commual lounge, kitchen and relaxation areas give me space to spread out if I want to. The location is great, right in the heart of Leicester and the onsite management and concierge team look after me when I need help.

The development is right in the heart of Leicester, literally a stones throw from the Highcross shopping centre with a good range of shops, a multiplex cinema and numerous restaurants and bars. About 5 minutes walk away is The Lanes area with a large number of independent shops and eateries. There are many bars, restaurants and clubs within 10 minutes walk. The railway station is about a 15 minute walk away and the bus station about 5 minutes.

Whilst each apartment is identical inside, make sure you look at the location, for example which floor, views from the windows, etc.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Good when they get around to things, but sometimes a little slow. Maybe this is because they had about 200 tenants move into the development in about 2 months, so they were very busy. Things have calmed down now, and they are getting quicker to respond.
A Wonderful Place to Live
The building design is very thought out, with systems in place to allow every day for the tenants to live their lives without any problems. Every space within the Wullcomb has been considered, with various different rooms and seating areas, you will never not have somewhere to sit! The flats are extremely spacious and have a big kitchen, fridge freezer, washing machine and even dishwasher. The building is managed by great people, Karl and Louise are always willing to help and always willing to ask whatever questions we have, as well as the fantastic concierge teams, maintenance teams and other staff that are on hand to assist (Stefan, Daniel, Cristina etc).
