We believe the best information about a residential development comes from the people living there. Owners and tenants have a lot of useful information to share with their prospective neighbours, not just on the property itself and its locality, but also on the developer and the building’s management.

The layout of the reception is second to none. It's instantly very impressive to guests and residents alike. The very friendly staff at the reception also make the building a pleasure as you're often greeted with a 'good morning' on your way to work and similar again when you return afterwards. The swimming pool & gym are situated on the top floor of the building with spectacular views of the city.

Since Way of Life departed and the building was taken over by The Leaders Group, it has been an absolute disgrace. The building is the most poorly looked after place I have ever lived. The pool and facilities are often closed/out of use. Simple things such as the bright multicoloured lights in the pool is now just a dull white light. The floor directly outside the building is shattered and wobbly, it has been a massive hazard for well over 12 months and all has been done to remedy it, is to place one orange cone on the floor. How such a hazard remains uncared is beyond me. They claim that it is not there responsibility and the land is owned by another building. My response. You have tenants paying well over £1000 a month to live in bang average apartments. Fix the dangerous floor. The water feature outside the building was for the best part of a year littered with cigarettes, rubbish, and for over a week… a dead bird…For over a week, a rotting carcass floated in front of the building. The water has now been drained and I thought was being cleaned and refilled. Nope, it begins to fill with litter again; only this time empty of water. The Reception area is dated; and a massive waste of space. If you visit any other residential building in Manchester such as Angel Gardens (directly across the road), it feels much more welcoming and homely. It wouldn’t take a lot of effort to update the furniture, maybe add some plants, additional seating. It has had the same ugly sofa from the apartments and nothing else. The guiding features massive, beautiful windows on entrance and could be absolutely stunning. The fact it looks so minimal, empty and cheap again goes to show how much the people that run this place care. The entrance to the building is not gated and often filled with homeless people or non residents hanging out. It doesn’t feel safe. There is so much potential for a communal space outdoors, and to really make the outside/reception area a wow factor. Privately hate the area, take some care in the garden/reception area. The amount of money this place charges to put absolutely nothing back into it, is the reason myself and various other tenants can’t wait to leave this place behind. It’s a real shame, those making all the money clearly don’t know how to spend it. Re invest in the building and it will do wanders.

Since Way of Life sold the building and Leaders Romans Group/Revolution took over the management everything has rapidly gone downhill. The pool is dirty and not cleaned as regularly. The sauna and steam room are constantly closing for repairs which take an age to get done. The whole upper side of the building under the punch bag amplifies the sound of anyone hitting it through the walls and no-one will fix it. Recently the concierge stopped being 24 hours for the weekend so it was impossible to get access to any parcels you had had delivered. Basically it's now being run on the cheap and starting to fall apart.

Amazing facilities such as the pool, gym, balcony and 24 hour concierge! The concierge is very friendly and accommodating. Great big windows too so can get an amazing view of the city! Furniture is of high quality and colour co-ordinated through/out the flat.

The property is managed by a well committed team who care about the buildings and the tenants in them. Quick to resolve any issues at anytime. Whilst the building is very modern it could do with a little bit of an updated design. The leisure centre is very well equipped and up to date.
Manager response
Thanks for the great review! The team at Skyline is thrilled you’re so happy with your stay. Best, Skyline 2
