We believe the best information about a residential development comes from the people living there. Owners and tenants have a lot of useful information to share with their prospective neighbours, not just on the property itself and its locality, but also on the developer and the building’s management.

The development is well designed. The flats and houses are well proportioned and spacious with good natural light. There are lifts in all apartment blocks. There are not really any facilities. The communal garden is great in the summer when there are not building works going on - and children can safely play there with little supervision. The property management is not very good. The housing association who manage Pitt House blocks are not very engaged and the overall property management (Y&Y) are not very focused on residents' interests at times. But overall I do love living here.

Design of this building is nice but after few years living in this development we started to notice the poor construction quality. Many leaks from bathroom & upstairs neighbour due to cracks on external facade. Maintenance & service charges are also ridiculously high in comparison to other similar new built developments surround. This doesn’t go hand in hand with the numbers of damages found within the development. Bike storage door damaged couple of times by thieves. Entrance door to building also broken many times. Many Leakage incidents from communal water pipes and from poorly design pull out hand showers.

A really lovely development with the odd bum note. Well made and very attractive, fitting in with the local area. Some rooms a shade narrow. Main issues are freeholder & management: poor, unresponsive & expensive..

Nestled in highbury barn, this development is perfectly located to two primary schools and lively local shops and parks. The development is really well designed with a lovely communal space and well proportioned flats and houses with some nice views nort to Alexandra palace. A great place.

Design in terms of looks is what I would expect and works fine ie clean and modern however... - unsafe actuators installed and caused fire hazard until we found out as well as outrageous bills; my anvil still refuse to acknowledge this despite numerous mails - Roofs are leaking and also they refuse to respond despite being in the 10 year window of warranty - management fees are increasing too rapidly with little transparency and will charge legal fees for delays even when I challenge fees ie ask for explanations or do not receive service Would never have bought had I known the standard from Y&Y I am still to contact the auditor and to hear back from my anvil so will undoubtably write to the CEO
