We believe the best information about a residential development comes from the people living there. Owners and tenants have a lot of useful information to share with their prospective neighbours, not just on the property itself and its locality, but also on the developer and the building’s management.

Love the design in the communal spaces, everything looks very clean and tidy. Gym is very good with new equipment. Everyone at reception is nice and available to help. The post locker downstairs is great for receiving parcel when not in, and the terraces are lovely to watch sunsets from

I love Gessner development. The design is beautiful, with an abundance of greenery and communal spaces that create a welcoming atmosphere. The presence of a gym is a fantastic addition, making it convenient to stay active. Overall, it's a well-planned and aesthetically pleasing place to call home, with excellent amenities and good management.

Hi Polina, Thank you for taking the time to leave such a positive review of The Gessner. We're glad you're enjoying your time here and making the most of the amenity spaces on offer, alongside the local area. We're aware of many more shopping, café and restaurant options that will be present in the area in the near future. We're communicating directly with those responsible for the Cannon Factory demolition, and working to ensure disruption is minimised for our residents. We have now provided a second set of keys for yourselves, and we apologise for the delay. Kind Regards, Joe

The development itself is very nice and in very good condition, as it was build just over two years ago. Terrace, gym, and other common areas are of a higher quality of what you will usually find somewhere else. The building is always perfectly clean, it has a locker where you can easily received parcels, and concierges are always available. Management must improve on communication though, specially about utilities and rent price increases.

Hi, Thank you for taking the time to leave such a positive review of The Gessner development. We're glad you're enjoying your time here and making the most of the amenity spaces on offer, alongside the local area and transport links, including new local businesses appearing nearby. We do appreciate that there will be noise from Watermead Way, however we hope that the noise cancellation when windows are closed is suitable for yourselves. I personally will take on board your comments regarding communication and timeframe regarding rent renewal, however I'm glad we were able to work towards a solution in this area. Following the issue you're referring to, we've communicated with our billing provider to ensure greater transparency and means of notification going forward. We do not, however, anticipate such an issue arising again Kind Regards, Joe

Way of Life Management: general vibe is - they just don't care: Very poor communication from Way of Life - residents back charged hundreds of pounds on energy pricing without communication from Way of Life. The management company negotiated a far higher (3 x higher than the average London cost for energy) without ever mentioning to residents and then back dated 6 months of bills based on this higher charge (so we had already paid our bills, and then received a new letter saying we owed even more). I recommended looking at Google reviews to see what the other residents have been saying. Way of Life don't help their staff at all, staff aren't told what's going on and therefore aren't able to keep us up to date.

When my partner and I moved in originally we really bonded with the management team, it seemed busy and full of life on a day to day basis. Whenever there was a problem it was quickly resolved. The building has always been clean and well looked after, and it always stands out in terms of design, but after the recent changes it seems that there is less staff and people around. There are new friendly faces, but sometimes it takes a day or two to process a request and there isn't always someone to help at reception. The new management team has helped us a lot, especially when it came to rent increases and trying to minimise the impact for us. The amenities offered within the building are still great for us and suit our needs. There have been a couple if socialising opportunities with other members within the building but this has decreased over the last year.

Hi Samantha, Thank you for taking the time to leave such a positive review of The Gessner. We're glad you're enjoying your time here and making the most of the amenity spaces on offer, alongside the local area and transport links. We do certainly expect to see more options appear in the local area in the near future, including shops and restaurants. We are liaising directly with those undertaking the demolition on the Cannon Factory land, and endeavour to minimise the impact and disruption for our residents. We have undergone a period of staffing changes, however we now have a settled team in place. This will help to further improve the response time to any queries that may arise. Kind Regards, Joe
