We believe the best information about a residential development comes from the people living there. Owners and tenants have a lot of useful information to share with their prospective neighbours, not just on the property itself and its locality, but also on the developer and the building’s management.

Storeton Hall is a mixture of new homes and converted builds by PJ Livesy on the site of a medieval hall house, thought to date from c1372. Storeton Hall and Storeton Barn are the site of conversions into four properties, while another 27 homes will be new builds in the surrounding area.

Having bought our dream home cash we would have thought the quality was matching the marketing you see on the net, but I'm sorry to say the standard of the house they handed over was very disappointing. Shabby workmanship, very poor standards of rendering that they tried to paint over as a fix, door frames that warp in the heat ( door frame was so bad that the door would not close until the sun went down). Paint splatters over the brick work, guttering, windows, canopy, and down pipes to the front of the house. Writing on the inside of the double glaze windows , cracks in the concrete flooring, slates falling off the roof in normal weather and the list goes on. They make a profit by having contractors do all the work but this work is not checked for quality and this is what lets the concept down. I warn anyone buying one of these houses to think carefully before buying PJLivesey home, you could be in for a very sorry regrettable time.
