We believe the best information about a residential development comes from the people living there. Owners and tenants have a lot of useful information to share with their prospective neighbours, not just on the property itself and its locality, but also on the developer and the building’s management.

Countless contractors have left and poor workmanship is to blame. Site plan is nothing like what Miller plan to create after you’ve moved in. The designs are all changed since when we signed our title deeds. Please beware of the poor builders that are Miller Homes. The management, sales and customer care including CEO are difficult to get hold of to rectify any issues. Buy another developers home but not a Miller Home

The design is very nice as there is a lot of space and plenty of utilities and rooms. However, there are certain aspects of the house that are not good such as the bricks in the garage which crumbles very quickly when something bumps into or knocks it and just the quality of the building materials in general just aren't very good.

I love the row of mature trees and green areas as you enter the development. So many new developments lack this. Really creates a nice feeling. The houses are nicely spaced and set back from the road. The roads and footpaths are a good width. So many new developments feel overly compact, trying to cram too many houses into the space. Miller have again avoided that impression with Scolar's Court, which is to their credit.

The site is still active. No deliveries until 8am! Yes right. The close has been blocked on multiple days at 7.15 am. We even had a delivery of a huge digger at 2am one Sunday morning. Builders drive recklessly in the close 7.30am every day, and throw their McDonald's litter onto the roads. Garages have running water inside when it rains, was supplied a tub of water resistant paint to fix it!. Gardens have been built on the concrete of an old school car park. Builders did not want to help remove tons of tarmac and concrete to enable my back garden to not be a swimming pool for 6 months of the year.

Scholars Place is a really nice, relatively small development that doesn’t feel like a typical cramped new build estate. Homes have nice exterior finishes so again don’t just look like a box. Generous ceiling height really makes a difference inside too. Pretty good finishes to all the floors and walls etc, very few issues and the minor ones we did have were resolved quickly. As it’s still being built time will tell if the property management of the green spaces is OK.
