We believe the best information about a residential development comes from the people living there. Owners and tenants have a lot of useful information to share with their prospective neighbours, not just on the property itself and its locality, but also on the developer and the building’s management.

Saffron Square is a huge, 43-storey development from the Berkeley Group. Currently the tallest building in Croydon, its distinctive purple and red façade pierces the skyline and is close to both East and West Croydon stations for transport into and around London.

Management do not care to protect our privacy and safety. Our home should be enjoyable and relaxing, not to find out someone from Saffron Square has used a drone to spy on privacy. My 6 years old daughter saw the drone and we did not believe her. Then we saw it a couple of days later ,I send the evidences to management and they don’t do anything about it. I reported it to the police and told them they can record easy and to spy on privacy, my friends spent the weekend and they noticed the drone and now they worry what that person is doing with the video, it is not safety to live in place where any time and hours you can be recorded

We like our development and the way different facilities are organised within it, such as accedes to parking garage, gym, reception, grocery store and coffee place. However we do miss to have another breakfast place where we could choose from variety of options (incl. vegan, vegetarian). It would be great to have restaurant within this development. Property management communications are fine and regular which we appreciate. Building management might sometimes be a bit slow to react. E.g there was icy floor and nobody did anything for the entire day. Mitigation could be actions within hour or two with simple bucket of salt/sand. They did something after 2-3 days. However this is the only one that was negative. Otherwise we are happy.

Probably the best place to build a high rise resident block in Croydon with the balance of Accessiity and away from the bustle of Northend. I don't really want to directly see a travel terminus from my Flat like living next door to one. Not too much traffic noise and pretty safe and secure and a nice Balcony roof terrace and open space on the Ground level for a stroll and for the kids to play on.

Access to private gym and lounge makes it nice for winter months. Enjoy having a concierge desk for parcel collecting. Nice lobby and community feeling when they organize events to meet up the management team and other neighbors. A testco next door is nice as well

We love it, except during summer months when there is no air con and huge glass windows causes heat inside the flat. The neighbourhood feels safe, however sometimes we do feel a bit uncomfortable people just entering building behind us and there is no one to ask them if they are leaving here. Otherwise we are very happy with it.
