We believe the best information about a residential development comes from the people living there. Owners and tenants have a lot of useful information to share with their prospective neighbours, not just on the property itself and its locality, but also on the developer and the building’s management.

Park Rise is a Mandale Homes development comprised of 87 apartments, with more coming later in the year. The development is located in Old Trafford on the peripheries of Manchester and residents here benefit from being located right next to Seymour Park, as well as being just a short walk from Trafford Bar tram stop, which rides straight into central Manchester.

The actual apartment is really lovely. All of the apartments have carpet which is rare in newbuilds now, and makes the apartment feel really cosy. There is a lack of storage space, but the rooms are relatively spacious, which makes up for the lack of storage space. There is lots of parking, and I would suggest that people don't pay for a car parking space because there is so much space in the car park, and the spaces are not numbered, so paying for your own space is really unnecessary. The maintenance of the building, however, is atrocious. The bin store is ridden with mice, that creep into the ground floor apartments, so definitely don't get one of those. The bin store doesn't get emptied that often, and the rubbish piles up in the doorway so you can't even get in there. There is virtually no maintenance team. The stairwells are dirty and don't get cleaned, and the lifts don't work. Sometimes the lift maintenance team come to fix the lift, and it will then work for a few weeks, but it always breaks again.
