Park Gate features a mix of studios and one and two-bedroom apartments. These bring together suburban comfort and urban convenience, minutes from Birmingham. Also, the development has excellent transport links to Birmingham city centre. As well as this, and is in a prime position to benefit from the Sheldon Park on it's doorstep. In addition, each home at Park Gate features bespoke designs. Large windows fill them with light and create airy living spaces which residents can make their own. Likewise, open-plan designs make each apartment customisable. Similarly, residents can enjoy  communal facilities including a gym, a rooftop work out area and a shared terrace with views over the surrounding area.

Building management staffs are very friendly and helpful. Cleanliness and maintenance is appreciable especially the common areas. Only thing which annoys me would be frequent maintenance shutdown of elevators. I’m really feeling lot of positive about this place.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

All the shops needed for basic living is very near right from the local shops and public transport connectivity.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Except for initial issue in setting my broadband through 4th Utility did not had any issue till now.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Having Sheldon park right next to the building is really an awesome add on to the place.

Hello, Thank you very much for your lovely review of Park Gate. Peter and the team will be thrilled. As for the lift issues you have mentioned. We have unfortunately been hampered with delays in receiving parts for our lifts. As a management team we have felt your frustrations and listened to your feedback and decided to change our preferred supplier to service our lifts. We hope this will ensure we have a much better/quick service should we have any outages in the future. Thank you.

DO NOT RENT OR BUY

Jimmy S (Tenant)

The property mangement is the worst ever. They made the handyman redundant previously, any issues you had he would come and look at. They made the receptionist redundant to I think save costs as well and when you bring up and issue it takes ages for it to be logged and taken seriously. The TV in the main reception gets robbed. Police are always there dealing with anti-social behaviour. You call and escalate straight through to alliance city living they say they will call you back they never do. There is no escalation process that is ever followed. THE WORST FACILITIES COMPANY, DO NOT LISTEN TO FAKE BIASS REVIEWS.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The good part is easy bus routes into city centre via x1 or x2 bus stops. 5 minute bus which takes you straight to birmingham airport. Parking is a joke. They rent out all the spaces and make you pay more money on top of your rent, or its a fight for back wall parking until the new development next to park gate is built. Which will be privately owned.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Car parking situation, no handyman on site, lifts always broken so if you're old or disabled you have no chance!

What is the best feature of your home:

The mordern so called look even though mould gets through easily. Radiators and heating is shocking.

The facilities is great the location of the building is amazing as well close to train station and not far from the city center. Onsite gym is handy for day to day workout and the greenery sheldon country club is great as well. The roof terrance is something needs improvement and i dont think a lot of people use it. Building is always clean

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

If you live by the horse shoe lane there are occasionally noises from the street on if you keep the window open you can hear the data center machines running

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They were great through the process of buying, i had a issue in the flat at the beginning and they fixed it still waiting for my freezer door to be fixed since a year ago

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

That the building would not have guest parking

Hey Helya, thanks so much for such a lovely review. We are really pleased you are enjoying living here, especially the location (we also love the county club it's perfect for lunch) and the facilities! Thanks for letting us know about the roof terrance, we think it's a fantastic space and it would be such a shame to waste it, we will make sure we find ways of getting the community up there again. Thanks again for taking the time to leave us a review, we will also pass on your comments about the high level cleaning to our team who will be really happy to hear there hard work is appreciated by our residents. Many thanks, Bex

Design of the building is very modern.

Design of the building is very modern. The gym is small but comfortable. Parking spaces are accessible to property owners or tenants only, so could have potential issues with having visitors round. Lifts need fixing correctly as they broke several times however we understand this is out of park gates control. Lovely staff and they are always happy to help

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Lovely staff, always clean, friendly, kind,

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Never had any issues with the landlord so we never had to talk.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

We wish we moved in earlier so we could have bought a car parking spot
