Packington Estate is a joint venture by the Hyde Group and Rydon located next to the Regent’s Canal on the eastern edge of Islington. The development features 791 new homes with a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments and studios alongside three, four, five and six-bedroom houses. Angel station is only a 15-minute walk away with connections to the Northern line.

Good maintenance and promptness in fixing issues on the common area

I am not happy with the customer service. They take long in repairing issues. It takes averagely about a month for the maintenance to take action and repair issues inside the flat. The maintenance and the cleanliness are very good, easy access everywhere, we have two lifts. The lifts in the common areas are being fixed promptly and the bins have been emptied regularly. The customer service could provide better information and stop passing us on the phone with extension numbers. The location of the development is not on the map. I like that the premises are easily accessible, open and relaxed environment.

It is very clean, 10 minutes walk to the shops, 5 minutes to the train station, easy access for getting around. You go to the end of the road to take the bus. Safe area during the night too.

I was expecting a ground floor flat but they put me on the first floor.

This area is nice overall. Lots of families with children live here. The neighbours are nice and friendly. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby within the walking distance. I walk to work in central London, it takes me around 30mins. Buses take you quickly to nearby Angel tube station.
My flat is lovely, it has lots of natural light and a good finish.

Construction around takes longer than they have told us. You have to apply for parking space and pay for it and the process is a bit complicated. I love this area overall, it has a nice canal for walking, jogging, cycling.
Everyman cinema is an amazing venue to go out to.

They are building a basketball court in the midde of flats development and I think it is going to give a noisy echo.

The design of the flat is fine. The neighbours are problematic sometimes. The cleanliness of the communal areas could be improved, no cameras in the lift. Brilliant apartment, very economical, one gas supplier who provides the heating and the boiler, which makes electricity and gas bills cheap. One very rarely needs the heating on. The park dog is here, dogs are allowed there anytime. The flat is not very well finished, it has got very thin walls. The common walls are more solid.

Well connected to transport. Tesco and Co-op are around the corner. I feel very safe living in the area.

I wish I knew about the quality of the flat construction!

The apartment is perfect, is good quality good lighting and ventilation. I like the design and space of it.
A bad thing is that the walls are too thin, sometimes I can hear banging and when people is having a shower in other apartments.

Unnecesary people coming here, we don’t have good security and people smokes weed in the park we have in the central area all the time. Anways, the area in general is beautiful. Good services and transport nearby.

The lack of security and people that doesn’t live here coming to smoke weed.

Bright, spacious and comfortable house. The wifi connection is really good. The flat has two gardens, with one of them being at the back . There are two bathrooms, one of which being an ensuite, for a four rooms house in total.

There are a lot of shops nearby and a lot of activities for young people. Couple of gyms, pitches and parks nearby.

The property is very spacious, we have a house for a big family and we are placed on a good location for kids. The design and quality of the building is very good. The only thing I don’t like is that it is a little bit noisy at night.

I like the buildings, we have nice trees and parking lots available on the street. We have a lot of shops, restaurants and schools nearby.

The design is alright. I live in a house, not enough storage in the rooms. Not enough plug sockets in the dinery. Each house comes with a garden. There are no bike storage and car parking on the street.

Close to the market and to transport , Angel is only 20 min away from here. Sainsbury is nearby as well.

You put one light on and all three floors light up.
