We believe the best information about a residential development comes from the people living there. Owners and tenants have a lot of useful information to share with their prospective neighbours, not just on the property itself and its locality, but also on the developer and the building’s management.

I love the design and the quality of the homes. It has great facilities and a lovely neighbourhood feel to the development. I feel content whilst driving home through the close. There are great scenic views around the development amazing for walks and runs particularly during this pandemic.

I am happy about the building design and property management. They cleaning very regularly and very nicely inside and outside the building. But the dump yard makes such a horrible smell throughout the year. It’s so unbearable. According to me that’s where the huge big developments failed. The local community is not happy at all about this.

The design in general is okay but there are areas on the main road through that aren't big enough for two cars to safely pass each other. St Helena avenue is the main one as cars have to stop as two cats can not fit round the bed at the same time. It would be no hope of that became a bus route. The shops, school and pavillion offer great facilitate and soon to be the green area replacing the tip. This will be much welcomed to the community. Building management is very poor. Our snagging list was never dealt with and we still have issues with our windows being mouldy 7 years after living here where the window being fitted poorly. We also have a wind blowing through the cubby holes on our top floor where they were so badly insulated. Poor communication with getting these matters resolved and now they claim no responsibility for to the age of the house. We also regularly get slugs through our front door where the gap is large on the bottom to the floor and the back patio door continues to drop each year and needs adjusting regularly. Our pipes were also wired incorrectly to the boiler causing more issues and we had a leak in our airing cupboard. All these issues were very poorly dealt with and most stay unresolved today. Therefore I would rate the building management and property build very poor.

The local shops and facilities are a blessing being able to pop to the local Asda for small adhoc shopping. Excellent chip shop and local costa on our doorstep is welcome. The implementation of traffic lights on the entrance to the estate appears to be poorly implemented. Due to non-standard light scheduling and unclear give-way rules. Given the low-speed/low-volume of traffic, a roundabout would have made far more sense. Annual odor issues with the active landfill on our doorstep. When being sold the estate we were told that the use of this landfill will soon be ended, but the council is trying to extend its use well beyond its intended life. See article relating to the impact the landfill has in the summer

I live in a flat that is 3 rooms, the living room is a great space area that i really enjoy, because of the position of the flat i have sun in both sides, making my living area very bright and comfortable. the kitchen is medium size, for small family i think is ok, the flat doesn't came with the white goods. The bathroom is a medium size with a bath/shower , me and my daughter really enjoy, it have a wood surface below that i end up making wet when i clean, so now is kind old and cracked and it doesn't look nice as before. The bedrooms are very spacious i could manage very well my daughter room and mine having plant space left for her toys, table and play area. the flat also came with 2 small deposits that one i use to put it the jackets and coats and the other i use as deposit of shoes and old stuff, i confess this is amazing space, very well planned. My only disappointment is the walls, is like they have paper inside, if u try to hang stuff u need to make sure of the weight, is very easy damaged . But besides this detail, i really enjoy my flat and my community.
