We believe the best information about a residential development comes from the people living there. Owners and tenants have a lot of useful information to share with their prospective neighbours, not just on the property itself and its locality, but also on the developer and the building’s management.

Location is what attracted us most to this development and the green open spaces. The houses are well made and we could tell the difference in quality vs friends that had bought through other developers. Parking and speeding does seem to be a problem.

As soon as me and my wife laid our eyes on our house and the location we fell in love, the design and location were just perfect. Watching our house move forward over the months made it even more special up until the day we moved in but this is when the special feeling started to fade. Everything was perfect but as we started to settle in you begin to notice issues with carpet’s, tiling, and the finishing off. The carpets were cut short and laid poorly, the tiling was poor and so was the grouting and the worst part of these certain issues was I’d paid Bloor homes to have all these jobs completed for our moving in date and trusted that the contractors they has chosen would be of a high standard but I was very wrong. If I was to do it all again I’d choose my own tradesmen to complete the work so I could over see it. Bloor homes as a hole were ok but make sure you get all your snags in on time because after the cut off dates for snags Bloor home’s really don’t want to know and the high up office based managers make it quite clear that they’ve got your money and it’s now your problem. But on a brighter side we love our house and since living in Manor farm we’ve started our own family and continue to be very proud of where we live.

Development overall good but builder Bloors are shocking. Still on going issues with drains constantly blocking up all over the estate!!! They and Labc Warranty provider refuse to rectify these problems and just state “ out of warranty” Disgraceful behaviour and a complete lack of responsibility and morals

We love the use of space of our particular home. They have sectioned off part of the kitchen to create a small utility room but this is not a separate room, just dividing the space. The houses on the estate are very attractive and nicely spread out.

We absolutely love the property and area we live in and all the aspects and design are what we were looking for. The biggest issue we have was with the management team after completion. Me and my partner felt that after the money had been handed and we were in the property Bloor homes went from 5 star to 1 star which was very disappointing. The trades people Bloor Homes used for the tilling and carpets were a bunch of cowboys and if I’d of known the level of work they did before I would of got my own company’s in to complete the work. I found Tristan one of the Bloor homes managers to be very patronising and didn’t give a fiddle at all. We are still waiting to have snags done two years on?????
